To start off, I got my WHM up to 57. I now have Raise 2, Reraise 2, and Shellra 3, which puts me at all the spells I need until 61. Well, there are the 3 recall spells at 57 but as I don't even have the crystals for those I don't really see a point in getting them. It was nice to be able to level my WHM with Disdain too because I haven't gotten to hang out with him in a while in game. The party I had with him was pretty sweet and required very little work by myself including not having to PL which is always splendid.
Being over 50 always means AF though. I must admit the WHM AF so far has been pretty easy because of some friends helping me out. Vaniel's friend needed some help with a ZM fight so I went out and dual boxed 2 fights to help him out and then he came to help me out with my AF body fight. The fight ended up being pretty easy considering it was tough dualboxing on my PS3 and my PC (waaaaaaaaay easier with the laptop + desktop). So now all I have to do to finish my WHM AF is go beat Dark Spark and turn in the flame. I even have my char all set up to just OP out to Xarc and do it so I can cross off another AF set from my list.
I guess I should mention I got dicked out of Byakko's Haidate for Screamin by 1 point. Now I'm probably going to have to wait another week or so before I can get it. At least I should almost definitely get it this coming week, or maybe even tonight if I'm super lucky. Then last night I couldn't go to Dynamis and missed out on Duelist's Tabard. This has been one CRAPPY week for me. Hopefully next week turns out better... Ugh, and I just realized this week isn't even over yet.......................................................

Clericfication
You'll understand the title in a second. I so funny, I make myself laugh.
Cleric: I leveled my WHM last night. Only got 1 level on it but hey, a level is a level and it brings me ever so slightly closer to my eventual goal.
Clericfication: My blog entry today about leveling WHM and a clarification about yesterday's post. SEE!!! HILARIOUS!!! Yeah...
Anyways, about yesterday's post. Yes, I have my Haidate, but Screamin doesn't. You know what its like to try to get sky items for 2 chars??? I hate sky as it is now because it is soooooooo annoying and I've been doing is for soooooooooo long. I literally have everything I could want for Treubond because I never plan on leveling PLD and the ONLY piece that I don't have from sky right now is M Head. Why would I take PLD to 75 when I already have a very well geared PLD at 75? The big reason I want to get Haidate is because whenever I use Screamin as a DD I throw him on MNK and that is really the last piece he is missing, besides a Black Belt of course. Once I get Haidate for Screamin that would be W Legs and Haidate that I've gotten for him which is MORE than one person should ever have to endure in sky. lol
I am kinda excited to be done with sky, its something nice to look forward to. :-) Then I can concentrate on leveling and having fun and not having to worry about going to sky EVERY friggin night. It is really starting to burn me out again. Sky is taking me to the point where I don't really want to do end game for a while again. Dynamis I can handle because I barely make half the runs as it is. Now that summer is rolling around now I will have troubles making it to Wednesdays AT ALL let alone late because of Volleyball. Bleh, I'm just not meant to get stuff from dynamis...
Maybe I just need to find a nice limbus shell that I can make it to all the time so I don't have to worry about anything else. Ugh, this has always been my problem with end game, time consumption. It puts such a strain on my RL that I don't have time to do everything that I want to in game and out of it. Ok, this isn't going anywhere so I'm just gonna stop whining. Peace...

My First ZNMs
I would like to start this off by saying that I have still never taken a picture for Zeni nor do I even know how to get the camera or the plates to take pictures with. That being said, I have had some good luck in the past 2 days with ZNMs.
Monday I was really sore from sun burn, so bad that it has woken me up about 7 times over the past 3 nights. With the sun burn making me so uncomfortable I figured sitting at work would just make things worse and stress me out, so the obvious decision was to stay home ... and game. I slept all morning, which felt fantastic by the way, and then I tried getting online in the afternoon and maybe exping WHM. Sadly it took about 4 hours before I finally got my internet to let me log in to FFXI and then when I logged on Mac told me he was doing some ZNMs. I figured what the heck, I don't have anything else to do so I'd go. We ended up doing about 4 pops of the Iriz Ima (Marid type mob) which drops Avocat Pigaches. At the end of it all, we got Mac his pair that he needed and a pair for myself. FYI Avocat Pigaches are Enfeebling Magic +3 which are amazing for my RDM and BLM now. :D
Then yesterday I was hoping to get some Sea NMs done with Mac but when we geared up and got ready to go there was a group doing the Ix DRK so he said he was gonna go pop Chigre instead. Again I figured I would go and take a shot at the MACC+2 ring. I also wanted to see how some of these mobs are done so I could potentially make some gil off of them later on or even just kill them for friends that would want items from these later on. On the last try the MACC+2 ring dropped and I guess everyone already had it except me so I got that. :D I haven't even had a chance to redo my macros yet because I had to run up to sky.
Some other good news that is sky related, I'm next for Haidate, and I don't mean next in line for the LS, I mean I am next and don't have to wait for a buyer. Once I get a Byakko's Haidate for Screamin I'm definitely taking a break from sky, my health is really suffering right now. I haven't been sleeping well enough or long enough and it is really starting to bring me down. Now they also have the possibility of double payout which means a bigger slice of the pie if you hit over 75% attendance for the week. It is actually a good idea I think because it is an incentive for people to come more often that don't really need items anymore. An idea that actually keeps the older members with tons of points around and continues to allow people with less points to still get a payout but still save points for items.
Anyways, I better be getting the Haidate tomorrow night or I'm gonna freak out. Then I can relax some and take a nice long break from sky and work on WHM at my leisure. Ok, I'm starting to repeat myself so I'll just peace out.

Karma
After one purely crappy day at work yesterday I had a pretty bad experience getting online. I got a party on WHM that was total trash but did net me 1 level on WHM. To prove what kind of trash this party was I was meleeing on WHM and at times was pulling hate ... SERIOUSLY PEOPLE?!?!?!
Once I decided to leave that party someone died almost immediately from stupidity which I got a chuckle out of. Then I was hoping to go farm some Sea capes with Mac, but he ended up spending the whole time doing BCNMs with Sush and Veng. So I decided to head up to whitegate and search for some shouts. Mind you this had been a totally crappy day and they only thing holding me afloat at this time was playing Secret of Mana on my Wii, which I honestly must say I'm having a lot of fun playing even though it is a relatively easy game, thus far. But I digress... Sitting in Whitegate is oh so fun especially seeing crappy shouts. Alas, I find a shout that I could be interested in, a floor 60 Nyzul Isle shout. I figure what they heck, I've got nothin better to do. Join the party and everyone puts up their search comments and this was the result: 5xAskar and me for Goliard. Needless to say I liked my odds of getting those cuffs. Not gonna lie, we were getting pretty screwed on our way up through the floors and then hit the boss and its Khimara, my least favorite boss. Once we put him down I nearly had a heartattack ... Goliard Cuffs dropped!!!!!1111ONEONEONE Yes, now I have 2 pieces of Nyzul Isle gear and both of them came from runs with Daunte. There was just one draw back, I had to change my RDM macros again from what I had just changed them to. The plus side though is that I have a new nuking and enfeebling piece for RDM and I believe BLM too and Morrigan Cuffs are no longer a high priority item for me. :D
Right about there is where kicked off again because it was a super slow night up in Sky. Sat around for maybe 2 full hours not doing anything in sky through out the night, but I did get to play some more Secret of Mana. lol At one point I got sick of waiting for instructions from the leaders so I started telling people what to do and pulling mobs and prepping for Ulli and such ... fun stuff. Oh, and they want to change the rules again for upping payout cost to 40 and making Sky mandatory so turning this into a all-or-nothing sky shell and I have a feeling there will be quite a few of us that will be peacing out at that point. I just can't take the drama or the lack of efficiency anymore, and its really starting to effect my work work. So when they do a big change in points I will be doing a big change in LSs as well and finding myself a new home to make some friends or just hang by myself and get stuff done that I want to. Anyways, the stress is piling up from this LS and I really shouldn't bother with it anymore because its literally not worth my health to fight it.

DARKwing Duck
DRK is done! It was very painful towards the end because I just couldn't get a good party to save my life. I ended up making a few parties with Disdain to finish myself off and get his DNC to 51 or 52. We did pretty well considering I was dual box tanking the one party with Screamin on PLD and me on DRK. But hey, I'm done with DRK and I can sell off some of this expensive gear ... w00t!
Now my big issue is with what job next. I want to do WHM next because I know it'll be kind of painful and I need to get a painful job out of the way. The biggest issue right now is I have no clue how hard it will be to find parties on WHM. I am hoping that it will be pretty easy because the 3 big problems while leveling are always finding a tank, a healer, and HOPEFULLY a refresher. But I'm banking on the fact that I will be in the minority of people leveling a healing job so I can get quit and good invites to parties. Here's to hoping!
So here come some more update in sky rules ... fun! They say they are changing the rules and possibly booting people because of bad attendance. The only thing is that I could be one of those fun fun people that get booted because I only show enough for payout because I don't NEED anything else in sky except stuff for Screamin which I'm not going to kill myself over. I am kind of getting fed up with people changing the rules before thinking it through and asking the LS before just changing it. To a certain extent I'm hoping they boot me because then I can just completely concentrate on stuff I wanna do instead of sky, like exping jobs like a slave again.
I also have an open invite to Exion's Salvage LS because they need a RDM but the problem right now is that I can't make the Wednesday runs because of Dynamis with HellsBells. If Shortbus did more (or ANY) icelands Dynamis I wouldn't worry about HellsBells anymore but since they don't I'm still gonna stick with HB. It feels like I'm trapped again because I want to do all this extra stuff but I'm so stuck with everything. Dynamis, Salvage, and Sky are all crossing over and I can't decide my priorities, even though obviously Sky is at the bottom of that list. Bah, I need something to go well right now so I can settle down and get a set schedule of events I want to do and need to do to get myself where I want to be in game.

It Is Official
This was a trashy update.
- The new NMs from FoV are for the augments, of the about 30 augments I've heard about only 1 was even decent, but yet it is totally random what you get.
- WHM updates still have potential to be the best thing in this update.
- Salvage updates I won't know about until I experience them, but just hearing about Mad Bomber makes me happy.
- RDM .... junk.
- SMN, haven't heard anything about yet, but doubt it'll be that good.
- Campaign updates, fortification fight for 15 minutes netted 28xp... TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! (glad it wasn't me that did this)
- Gobbiebags 9 and 10 are probably around 300k each, sounds like I'll be waiting for the prices to come down...
That's it really from this update, and nothing is all that grand. Oh yeah, I guess they broke a bunch of PUP stuff and then also some of the new add-on missions are screwing up too. Great testing there SE, way to make sure your product is good before throwing it out there.
On a side note, I ordered the Mog Satchel last night ... I mean the Security Token and I registered for my SE account today. So I'm all set up and ready to rumble with 70 new inventory spots as soon as I can register the token. :D

Under 2M Exp To Go
A few things I want to get out before I go into the update notes. I got 64 DRK and I'm now under 2M exp until Maat's Cap. That sounds like a TON of exp, which it is, but its not too bad. That's only like 200 hours of exp at an average of 10k/hr. So if I get some uber exp parties that is like 100 hours of exp... ugh. Realistically speaking I'm probably looking at about 150-175 hours of actually exping before I can even start beating Maat on all of these jobs. If I put in 3 hours of exp every day for the next 58.3 days I would be able to start smacking Maat down. Man, this hat better be sooooooooooo worth it.
On to the Update:
- New missions, but doesn't sound like you get anything yet ... yay....
- MMM updates, could be some cool new gear, but I doubt it'll be anything worth spending all that time figuring MMM out to actually get.
- FoV update, more zones, again, not all that amazing because they still won't have it in the zones that I would be leveling in so nothing for me.
- FoV update, new NMs fought by using your points, has potential.
- New NM Campaign mobs, sounds cool and finally something else to do with my Allied Notes.
- Salvage: Mad Bomber always pops now (w00t), SSR should have more drops now from certain NMs (w00t).
- WHM abilities, looks like WHM is actually useful again and now I need to level it!
- RDM abilities, what a waste .... serioiusly, this was a waste of development time.
- SMN update, maybe the group 2 merits won't be junk now!
- New weapons and armor ... yay? Have to wait on this one...
- Augmented items, again have to wait and hear about this but sounds like it could be awesome.
- Gobbiebags 9 and 10, HAZZAH!!!!
- Mannequin storage upgrade, now I can trash like 3 bahuts because they just upped my mannequin's storage by 21 spots.... w .... t .... f .....
- Delkfutt Key is now a key item instead of a key, this only took like 5 years to figure out >.>
- You can now get your seals back from the storage guy ... I don't see a purpose in this considering you can't trade or sell them and you can ONLY give them to that guy. Maybe there is a point for this in a future update?
- Mog Satchel if you buy the token which I plan to, inventory +70-80 AWEEEESOME!!!!
- Add-On, again you need to purchase but it sounds like there are more rewards in these add-ons then just those 3 body pieces ... bonus!
All in all, not so much to look forward to in this update unless you are spending an extra $20 for the satchel ... I mean the security token and the "add-on" expansion. A couple more possibilities for NM fights are cool but it all depends on what they drop to see if they are even worthwhile to waste my time on.
FYI: just saw all the items that have been released with this update ... a whole bunch of junk. Good job SE!

- Mannequin storage upgrade, now I can trash like 3 bahuts because they just upped my mannequin's storage by 21 spots.... w .... t .... f .....
- Delkfutt Key is now a key item instead of a key, this only took like 5 years to figure out >.>
- You can now get your seals back from the storage guy ... I don't see a purpose in this considering you can't trade or sell them and you can ONLY give them to that guy. Maybe there is a point for this in a future update?
- Mog Satchel if you buy the token which I plan to, inventory +70-80 AWEEEESOME!!!!
- Add-On, again you need to purchase but it sounds like there are more rewards in these add-ons then just those 3 body pieces ... bonus!
All in all, not so much to look forward to in this update unless you are spending an extra $20 for the satchel ... I mean the security token and the "add-on" expansion. A couple more possibilities for NM fights are cool but it all depends on what they drop to see if they are even worthwhile to waste my time on.
FYI: just saw all the items that have been released with this update ... a whole bunch of junk. Good job SE!
