This will only be a short post since I don't have much to update. Heck, most of this update is going to be about Screamin. lol
Starting with Screamin, I basically don't do sky anymore. I really only go up when they really need people since I seriously have everything I need from sky. This is why I've been sending Screamineagle up instead of me because they usually need DD for Kirin burns and my SAM has been hacked up from lending gear to other people, such as my Peacock Charm to Disdain who hasn't logged on since I lent it to him and my Hagun to Hybrid because he doesn't have the gil right now to buy one. Anyways, Tuesday night the LS needed more DD for Kirin again so I sent Screamin up on MNK since it is pretty well geared. Turns out that D Body drops and our leaders were trying to sell it to the other LS that was there waiting to do Kirin. It ends up that no one that is allowed to lot on it wants it so it free dropped. Well, it ended up free dropping to Screamin so I could get him a Shura Togi now. This leaves the only abj that he really needs from sky now is D Legs which I could really care less about. Hurray for Screamin being done with sky too though. :D
Only update I have for myself is just that I've been working on PLD AF. I have all the keys and now have the quested pieces done, but the coffers themselves are being bastards. Last night I literally searched every spot in The Eldieme Necropolis and didn't find the coffer, but I did find the chest. Tonight the coffers better be more cooperative because I want to get crackin on PLD this weekend and I don't wanna blow Friday night searching.
Oh, and some sad news I just got last night. One of my friends may be transfering servers to Remora. I guess they said the friends they are with right now have a lot of drama on this server so they are jumping to go hang with some other friends they have there. Lame excuse if you ask me. I uprooted once and jumped servers and when I did half of my friends quit and I had to start all over again. At the point where I am I don't have it in me to leave and make all new friends again because I have friends all over this server, even if I'm not that close with them, that I just don't want to leave.

I Have Now Beaten Sky
Byakko's Haidate x2 and W Legs x2 ... yeah, I think I've beaten sky. It was painful because it came down to our last pop set again but this time I was lucky enough to have it drop for me. I was pumping my fists and was ecstatic after I got it. When Byakko died I had Screamineagle in the party within seconds and lotted the Haidate. Khrone asked me after a min if Screamin was even in sky yet and I told him to check the alliance because Screamin had already lotted it. lol
Now I can finally relax from sky and not worry too much about it since I now have all I want for both chars. I doubt I will get anything else for either char because it will cost gil to uncurse any abjurations I get which I'm just not willing to spend on a 2nd char. Anyways, that really does mean I can start looking more at exp and more at other end game events that will take MUCH less of my time and still allow me to sleep at night.
The only issue now with end game is that I don't know where to look for LSs now. I guess I could just throw out a general post on the LS forums for my sky shell to see who else does what because I need to think about limbus and einherjar and maybe even a new dynamis shell that I can go to twice a week.
Anyways, I need to try and get a lil more work done from home. I had to at least throw up a post about 2nd pair of Byakko's Haidate. :D

Haidate Please
I doubt I'll put a label on this post because this is going to be a post full of just random thoughts that I need to just write down. There also isn't much for me to update on because I haven't gotten much done in game.
As far as WHM goes, I haven't gotten a good party yet. Last night I got in a party, killed 1 mob while the PLD was d/cing, and then the party disbanded. The only positive I've done for WHM this week was me finishing off my AF. I'd hope that tonight I could level WHM some more but I have volleyball at 7:30 and then sky at 10, so I'd only have about an hour between getting home and needing to be in sky.
Sky this week has been VERY slow because attendance has been crap. Not even the leaders are showing up to the runs which brings down everyone else, which in turn ends sky runs in a hurry. Tonight if we have the numbers and Zal actually logs on for the first time this week, we have about 5 Byakko pop sets to burn through. Screamin is next in line in the LS for Haidate but sadly the next one goes to a buyer. Still, even if we only get a 40% drop rate on the pants I will have Haidate for Screamin ... WOO HOO. I just really hope that people show up tonight so we can roll through those pop sets and get some Haidates past around.
Next on the list to talk about is Salvage. So far the group is still at a stand still because I asked Vaniel last night but he said he just got his work hours switched to evenings and he couldn't say that he was too excited about Salvage gear. As of now that leaves our Salvage group at myself, Khrone, and Disdain, which is a good start I guess. Jobs we still need are MNK, THF/BRD/RDM, WHM, and a DD. Khrone is definitely MNK, but then Disdain can swap between BRD and THF or even DRG and I could go between BRD, RDM, and SAM. The only necessary jobs one of us cannot switch between is a 2nd MNK and a WHM. I'd really like to find a MNK we can trust and a WHM we can trust, but the problem is there aren't that many people I trust in this game anymore. I guess I could ask Vayla and Klitz and them, but they haven't been online too much and they have been concentrating a lot on building up themselves again. Ugh, even if Screamin were still around that would knock out our 2nd MNK. I wish my friends would stop leaving the game and stay so we can get more stuff done together in the game. lol

Vayla, Bleemo, Klitz(don't know his new char's name) and their other friend
Thought of the Day(changing things up a lil today):
Doing my Wii Fit has actually been helping me sleep better at night. I guess there is grounds to doing work outs does help you sleep at night.
And don't dis the Wii Fit, there are some HARD exercises on there that make you sweat and build muscle.

Disco Pants and Condom Caps
To start off, I got my WHM up to 57. I now have Raise 2, Reraise 2, and Shellra 3, which puts me at all the spells I need until 61. Well, there are the 3 recall spells at 57 but as I don't even have the crystals for those I don't really see a point in getting them. It was nice to be able to level my WHM with Disdain too because I haven't gotten to hang out with him in a while in game. The party I had with him was pretty sweet and required very little work by myself including not having to PL which is always splendid.
Being over 50 always means AF though. I must admit the WHM AF so far has been pretty easy because of some friends helping me out. Vaniel's friend needed some help with a ZM fight so I went out and dual boxed 2 fights to help him out and then he came to help me out with my AF body fight. The fight ended up being pretty easy considering it was tough dualboxing on my PS3 and my PC (waaaaaaaaay easier with the laptop + desktop). So now all I have to do to finish my WHM AF is go beat Dark Spark and turn in the flame. I even have my char all set up to just OP out to Xarc and do it so I can cross off another AF set from my list.
I guess I should mention I got dicked out of Byakko's Haidate for Screamin by 1 point. Now I'm probably going to have to wait another week or so before I can get it. At least I should almost definitely get it this coming week, or maybe even tonight if I'm super lucky. Then last night I couldn't go to Dynamis and missed out on Duelist's Tabard. This has been one CRAPPY week for me. Hopefully next week turns out better... Ugh, and I just realized this week isn't even over yet.......................................................

Clericfication
You'll understand the title in a second. I so funny, I make myself laugh.
Cleric: I leveled my WHM last night. Only got 1 level on it but hey, a level is a level and it brings me ever so slightly closer to my eventual goal.
Clericfication: My blog entry today about leveling WHM and a clarification about yesterday's post. SEE!!! HILARIOUS!!! Yeah...
Anyways, about yesterday's post. Yes, I have my Haidate, but Screamin doesn't. You know what its like to try to get sky items for 2 chars??? I hate sky as it is now because it is soooooooo annoying and I've been doing is for soooooooooo long. I literally have everything I could want for Treubond because I never plan on leveling PLD and the ONLY piece that I don't have from sky right now is M Head. Why would I take PLD to 75 when I already have a very well geared PLD at 75? The big reason I want to get Haidate is because whenever I use Screamin as a DD I throw him on MNK and that is really the last piece he is missing, besides a Black Belt of course. Once I get Haidate for Screamin that would be W Legs and Haidate that I've gotten for him which is MORE than one person should ever have to endure in sky. lol
I am kinda excited to be done with sky, its something nice to look forward to. :-) Then I can concentrate on leveling and having fun and not having to worry about going to sky EVERY friggin night. It is really starting to burn me out again. Sky is taking me to the point where I don't really want to do end game for a while again. Dynamis I can handle because I barely make half the runs as it is. Now that summer is rolling around now I will have troubles making it to Wednesdays AT ALL let alone late because of Volleyball. Bleh, I'm just not meant to get stuff from dynamis...
Maybe I just need to find a nice limbus shell that I can make it to all the time so I don't have to worry about anything else. Ugh, this has always been my problem with end game, time consumption. It puts such a strain on my RL that I don't have time to do everything that I want to in game and out of it. Ok, this isn't going anywhere so I'm just gonna stop whining. Peace...

My First ZNMs
I would like to start this off by saying that I have still never taken a picture for Zeni nor do I even know how to get the camera or the plates to take pictures with. That being said, I have had some good luck in the past 2 days with ZNMs.
Monday I was really sore from sun burn, so bad that it has woken me up about 7 times over the past 3 nights. With the sun burn making me so uncomfortable I figured sitting at work would just make things worse and stress me out, so the obvious decision was to stay home ... and game. I slept all morning, which felt fantastic by the way, and then I tried getting online in the afternoon and maybe exping WHM. Sadly it took about 4 hours before I finally got my internet to let me log in to FFXI and then when I logged on Mac told me he was doing some ZNMs. I figured what the heck, I don't have anything else to do so I'd go. We ended up doing about 4 pops of the Iriz Ima (Marid type mob) which drops Avocat Pigaches. At the end of it all, we got Mac his pair that he needed and a pair for myself. FYI Avocat Pigaches are Enfeebling Magic +3 which are amazing for my RDM and BLM now. :D
Then yesterday I was hoping to get some Sea NMs done with Mac but when we geared up and got ready to go there was a group doing the Ix DRK so he said he was gonna go pop Chigre instead. Again I figured I would go and take a shot at the MACC+2 ring. I also wanted to see how some of these mobs are done so I could potentially make some gil off of them later on or even just kill them for friends that would want items from these later on. On the last try the MACC+2 ring dropped and I guess everyone already had it except me so I got that. :D I haven't even had a chance to redo my macros yet because I had to run up to sky.
Some other good news that is sky related, I'm next for Haidate, and I don't mean next in line for the LS, I mean I am next and don't have to wait for a buyer. Once I get a Byakko's Haidate for Screamin I'm definitely taking a break from sky, my health is really suffering right now. I haven't been sleeping well enough or long enough and it is really starting to bring me down. Now they also have the possibility of double payout which means a bigger slice of the pie if you hit over 75% attendance for the week. It is actually a good idea I think because it is an incentive for people to come more often that don't really need items anymore. An idea that actually keeps the older members with tons of points around and continues to allow people with less points to still get a payout but still save points for items.
Anyways, I better be getting the Haidate tomorrow night or I'm gonna freak out. Then I can relax some and take a nice long break from sky and work on WHM at my leisure. Ok, I'm starting to repeat myself so I'll just peace out.

DARKwing Duck
DRK is done! It was very painful towards the end because I just couldn't get a good party to save my life. I ended up making a few parties with Disdain to finish myself off and get his DNC to 51 or 52. We did pretty well considering I was dual box tanking the one party with Screamin on PLD and me on DRK. But hey, I'm done with DRK and I can sell off some of this expensive gear ... w00t!
Now my big issue is with what job next. I want to do WHM next because I know it'll be kind of painful and I need to get a painful job out of the way. The biggest issue right now is I have no clue how hard it will be to find parties on WHM. I am hoping that it will be pretty easy because the 3 big problems while leveling are always finding a tank, a healer, and HOPEFULLY a refresher. But I'm banking on the fact that I will be in the minority of people leveling a healing job so I can get quit and good invites to parties. Here's to hoping!
So here come some more update in sky rules ... fun! They say they are changing the rules and possibly booting people because of bad attendance. The only thing is that I could be one of those fun fun people that get booted because I only show enough for payout because I don't NEED anything else in sky except stuff for Screamin which I'm not going to kill myself over. I am kind of getting fed up with people changing the rules before thinking it through and asking the LS before just changing it. To a certain extent I'm hoping they boot me because then I can just completely concentrate on stuff I wanna do instead of sky, like exping jobs like a slave again.
I also have an open invite to Exion's Salvage LS because they need a RDM but the problem right now is that I can't make the Wednesday runs because of Dynamis with HellsBells. If Shortbus did more (or ANY) icelands Dynamis I wouldn't worry about HellsBells anymore but since they don't I'm still gonna stick with HB. It feels like I'm trapped again because I want to do all this extra stuff but I'm so stuck with everything. Dynamis, Salvage, and Sky are all crossing over and I can't decide my priorities, even though obviously Sky is at the bottom of that list. Bah, I need something to go well right now so I can settle down and get a set schedule of events I want to do and need to do to get myself where I want to be in game.

Lots Done
I guess I'll just start with all the exp that has been done this week. It hasn't exactly been what I had planned but moving towards Maat's Cap is really the big goal which I have been doing.
Started with a SMN burn party that was nice but its so short because it only lasts 2 pulls and then you need to find a new person to level sync to 13-15 with. Its a great idea but just not legit for a long term party. I suppose I can't really complain though since I did get 4 levels on my SMN in about 2 hours.
On MNK I got some exp in E. Ron [S] parties and am now 55. This is really the job I want to concentrate on this weekend because I set a goal of having it at 66 by Sunday and as of right now I really have no chance to do that unless I exp all day Saturday and Sunday.
Last night we were about ready to do Salvage and then Caol d/c's and couldn't get back online. Although when he d/c'd it was already about 10:20 which made us uber late as it was. Dray was seemingly trying to stick us being late on me, Khrone, and Hybrid. When I joined the party he said something along the lines of "that is why I wanted to change the times and change some people." I took that as a personal assault on myself because I knew starting off Dray didn't think I was reliable. When I have only missed 1 run and that was because Khrone got into a car accident that day and he wasn't sure how bad he was still shaken up by it since he did roll his Jeep. I was just going to do whatever he wanted to do that night because I was, and have been since, my brother's driver since he is still carless and I just wanted to make sure he was all good. Argh, I am just really frustrated right now about this whole thing because people are still looking at our group as an LS instead of friends doing this together. I mean I know there have to be rules but some of them are pushing so hard about how "the shell" is run ... shell? ... its 9 friggin people folks, can't we just come to a consensus on this between us instead of try saying, he's the leader he will tell us how it is? Bleh, ok, feeling better now that I'm finally just saying some of this, even though basically no one reads my blog. lol
Since we ended up not doing Salvage I went up to sky earlier than I expected and we ended up doing a lot of gods and 2 kirins. Overall the night was crappy to the LS but at least semi nice to Khrone who got his D Head ... FINALLY!!! Byakko was also extremely stingy and didn't drop his pants for us (yes I know how that sounds) either time we killed him. What is really cool is that for Haidate right now it is Wardemon -> Buyer -> Screamineagle. :D That means I am ever so close to finishing off Screamin's MNK for as far as I can really take it without doing other events with him. We also found out that the people that asked for payout are getting somewhere around 1.2M gil a piece. I'm uber pumped for that because that puts me right at the point where I could actually afford a Morrigan's Robe just by selling like 2 or 3 pieces of gear!!!! w00t!!!
Back to Screamineagle, I have been able to dual box him in some assaults and actually got him a new assault done last night. Maybe I can rank him up to FL eventually while we're moving Khrone, Hybrid, and the soon to be gone Mac up in the ranks. I also realized, just now actually, that I am totally done with Mamool Ja Training Grounds assaults! Now if I can get this one escort assault won I will be done with the first 4 ranks of assault as well.
Tonight is going to be a busy night though. After work my friend is gonna cut my hair, then I will probably exp or do assaults, then I have Salvage, then maybe another assault, then we're supposed to be going and doing Promyvion-Dem for Khrone to get him going again in CoP. Yeah, busy friggin night and then I want to just spam the crap outta my MNK so I can get moving quickly to 66. The one thing about my MNK is that it is at a bird camp level which is nice incase the 37 bird camp is full. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it goes this weekend. Til next week.

Started with a SMN burn party that was nice but its so short because it only lasts 2 pulls and then you need to find a new person to level sync to 13-15 with. Its a great idea but just not legit for a long term party. I suppose I can't really complain though since I did get 4 levels on my SMN in about 2 hours.
On MNK I got some exp in E. Ron [S] parties and am now 55. This is really the job I want to concentrate on this weekend because I set a goal of having it at 66 by Sunday and as of right now I really have no chance to do that unless I exp all day Saturday and Sunday.
Last night we were about ready to do Salvage and then Caol d/c's and couldn't get back online. Although when he d/c'd it was already about 10:20 which made us uber late as it was. Dray was seemingly trying to stick us being late on me, Khrone, and Hybrid. When I joined the party he said something along the lines of "that is why I wanted to change the times and change some people." I took that as a personal assault on myself because I knew starting off Dray didn't think I was reliable. When I have only missed 1 run and that was because Khrone got into a car accident that day and he wasn't sure how bad he was still shaken up by it since he did roll his Jeep. I was just going to do whatever he wanted to do that night because I was, and have been since, my brother's driver since he is still carless and I just wanted to make sure he was all good. Argh, I am just really frustrated right now about this whole thing because people are still looking at our group as an LS instead of friends doing this together. I mean I know there have to be rules but some of them are pushing so hard about how "the shell" is run ... shell? ... its 9 friggin people folks, can't we just come to a consensus on this between us instead of try saying, he's the leader he will tell us how it is? Bleh, ok, feeling better now that I'm finally just saying some of this, even though basically no one reads my blog. lol

Too Many Pearls
Last night ended up being a busy night but not everything started on time. Volleyball went well, got to play against a guy I used to play against and with but his team was terrible last night and we DESTROYED them. That was really fun whoopin on them too.
After that I rushed home because we were supposed to have Salvage. Well we had 5 of us ready to roll again but Dray was afk. So we got really fed up with it and started talking about better hours for everyone and possibly just kicking some people. We eventually dropped our Gigidy pearls and started using Caol's pearl called Cero. After over an hour we got a few more people on and ready to go so we geared up to go and then Dray came back too. Caol has us laid out for doing some QQA and QQTH which I'm quite happy about since they drop the 35s for Ares and Morrigan body pieces. Overall it was a good run but it was still not nearly as efficient as it needs to be. There was one point Caol d/c'd because he lost power and then Redge just started pulling random mobs for no reason because he thought it would be fun to just kill stuff. Well, we still hadn't done the QQA or the Chariot for the floor we were on so it was looking to be a brilliant waste of time until dray and I said we should go do the QQA at least for that floor. Finally Redge agreed to it, after running us to somewhere on the map where only Dray was supposed to be. So Dray popped the QQA by opening the door and we got the kill but no drop. After that we had about 5 min and then Caol and Redge want us to try to the Chariot but don't realize that we're running around with 2 aggro'd mobs so they rush in, pull the Chariot, mages die from trying to take care of the aggro, DD go down, and then there is Khrone and I left with like 10 seconds left. I get off a lucky Lullaby and sleep the mob on me but since I still didn't have SJ I couldn't cure Khrone at all and he had about 100 HP with the Chariot and a Rampart on him. With neither of my Lullabies up I couldn't do anything except stand there and tell him to try to use his firefly to get out. He told me he got to like 80% on the firefly when he died and literally not even 2 seconds later we get zoned out. I was the only one left alive with about 45 HP.
Like I said, overall it wasn't a bad run but there were things that definitely could've gone better like calling of cells much faster. The passing of cells was still good, but as you can't expect it to be super fast every time I couldn't really have expected much faster for our group. We did a good job of getting cells and following directions, but I still think we spent too much time trying to get cells for everyone. Sometimes we need to just cut our losses and move on, even if some DD don't have weapons. Going with the 9 that we did can be a hinderance more than a help sometimes because you try to unlock so much for so many people and it just takes too long. I do feel we are getting some good experience and we are all getting a better idea of what to expect. Not until we do full runs of all the zones do I think we will really have this stuff down.
Once we finished Salvage some of us decided to head up to sky. It was a pretty good day for sky since they made like 6M in sold items plus the gil items that dropped. I almost got my W Hands but I decided to just pass it to the buyer. Passing it will give me a little more desire to keep going up to sky because then I still have something to get. After W Hands all of my points will go towards payout and Haidate for Screamin and then if I'm still doing sky I guess just Osodes.
I do really want to get back to MNK some more because I want to get crack-a-lackin hard core on Maat's Cap again. Basically get my 2 nights a week in sky and then Salvage and exp will be my life. Too bad I won't have a chance to do any of that because my gf will be in town this weekend so there goes my game time.

Rift

3 about sums it up to what happened with a lot of people in LolFail, a huge break in friendly relations. Its actually funny because I have almost come to expect this now. I haven't been in an LS that hasn't ended in a flaming ball poo poo cah cah just like this one, and of course there is always the iteration afterwards. As much as people don't want to say it or admit it, this LS is basically and off shoot of one from way back before I even got onto Hades. I guess it was originated by Hiox (I think that was his name), and then got turned into DramatisPersonae led by Driz/Gwen (hubby/wife combo) and a shell which I was apart of. After them it kept the same name and was turned over to Babybear which didn't last long because everyone had their own opinion on what was going on which ended up driving BB to just quiting and the shell falling apart. Due to that falling apart Vaniel started picking up people into MyFirstDay which didn't last long either because people accused him of stealing which was always complete and utter BS because he never had a reason to steal anything in the game because his gear never changed at all ... EVER. So Van gave up everything to Drayco and Cedrick who then started AstrumNovae. (on a side note, I'm pretty sure there was an iteration of OrganizedChaos in there too) Then Dray and Ced accused each other of stealing and Ced booted Dray who had basically the entire bank of well over 10M. That basically led to the downfall of that one which lead nicely into LolFail because Sush was in AN but got booted earlier so he said fork it and moved on and made his own. So there I was in LolFail with some of the same people I was in DP with way back in the day. Seriously, people just keep flowing right into the next iteration. Relentless which is now run by Zalorolo, Shiiga, Hybridkiller, and Caol, but again, basically same group as LolFail with a few changes mostly in who's running it.
At least I can honestly say the only thing I'm going to miss are the payouts. It was by far my biggest source of income and since I feel that I'm basically done with sky now, especially since I got lucky and got N Hands last night because our buyer fell asleep while we were killing, I don't really feel that I will ever need to find another sky shell considering the only thing I would ever want from sky now for Treu is W Hands, but Haidate would be uber for Screamin.... There will always be a big need for gil which is becoming increasingly aparent to me because in order to really do much more with my SAM outside of merits I will need oodles of gil. My one ring really need to be upgraded because I'm still just WSing in my Jaeger Ring which is really sad. Also, when I cap my GK merits I can swap out Potent Belt for a Warwolf Belt and get 2 more STR there. Another upgrade I could do is Alky gloves for a lot more STR but I'm content with my Hachiman for now. There are just so many upgrades that I really could and should do but I really don't want to bust my load on this if I don't haaave to. Honestly I'd rather save myself from buying the big ticket items and save gil for Morrigan set.
Last night I also came to the realization that I needed to fix my macros for SAM again because what I was doing just wasn't working and I was occasionally WSing without having my STR gear on. After thinking long and hard about it I finally discovered a way to make my macros work better for me. It may not be the most appropriate of ways, but I'm actually very pleased with how well it worked out. I actually tried them out during a Kirin last night and the were splendid. While I am on that note, that Kirin was parse and the winner was Kyrja followed by Khrone followed by me. Khrone didn't beat me by much and Kyrja didn't beat him by much, but they were cheating and using food and I was just doin it all natural. Man, my SAM could be super uber if I really wanted it to... ok, already talked about this. I do feel that I am having more fun playing with SAM though than I was just sitting on BRD or my crappy BLM waiting to see stuff happen. There was also a god fight that Thebossman, who just joined the shell, was the top parser and I wasn't too far behind him. In his defense he did tank a little bit in that fight and I think I only missed 1 WS and crit'd 2. His DRK is REALLY well geared and I wish I had half the stuff he did.
Anyways, this has turned into a long winded post again ... whoops. Tonight I will be running around with Khrone again and then back home to play volleyball then back out to his house. I think tonight I will take off from sky to merit some more. My thoughts are still to keep meriting this week still and then swap over to MNK starting at some point this weekend. Getting back to Maat's Cap again because Brian asked so politely. :P

A New View on Things
I guess I'll just go chronologically through the weekend as I normally do.
Friday I got some merits and then went to a birthday party. After the birthday party I went out to a bar and saw a kid I hadn't seen since like 9th grade. He told me about this band that was playing at Cebar's in Euclid, Sumrada. What he didn't know is that I have known that family for basically my entire life and they are actually cousins of one of my best friends growing up ... small world.
Saturday I woke up and promptly begain meriting again with Mactatus and it seems every party I am in with him at the bird camps does about 20k/hr. I mean we were TEARING through mobs like they were Easy Prey. At the end of the day I was sitting at 4/5 Store TP so I decided to upgrade my gear a little more and got 2 pieces of Hachiman gear. The hands will be a permanent addition and the feet are going to be for WSing now until I can get a pair of rutters. Which by the way, I did have a rutter run with Mac and Dray helping out, Mac tanking and Dray for the TH3, but sadly they didn't drop. It was a rather easy fight for Mac so hopefully I can get another air tank and get it to drop this next time.
After gaming I went to the bar to see Sumrada play and had a fun night. Afterwards I went home and Khrone was supposed to just stay at my house but he ended up stopping at someone else's house after the bar. I was then later woken up by my brother I live with to here that Khrone tried driving home (about a 30 min drive) and fell asleep at the wheel. He rolled his Jeep on the freeway and somehow walked away without even literally a scratch. When I heard that he rolled his Jeep I don't think I have ever frozen up like that before. I mean I was literally in a daze and broke out in a cold sweat, it was almost like I had a near death experience. Luckily he is fine and today he said he wasn't even really sore but his Jeep was totalled. Since we work together I have become his personal PL, I mean driver, since we work at the same place anyways. So this week I dunno my availability for anything since I will be spending my time working around his schedule too.
Sunday was just spent meriting again as I want to horde as much as I could to finally finish Store TP to 5/5, which I did, and be able to move on to something that will help me do more damage on my WS, like GK skill which is now level 3 as well. I think I will spend the time to get GK 8/8 and Overwhelm at 3/5 and then get back to Maat's Cap jobs. Those are the biggest 2 increases in damage and accuracy before it gets kind of retarded to upgrade anymore. As it stands to just get to that point I will need 27 merits which is quite a daunting task. I think I may call it quits for meriting after this week unless I get those 27 merits first. Samurai is a fun job and I can start doing some great damage on it but I don't really feel the need to completely cap merits on it and pimp it all out. Besides, I honestly want to get back to MNK and working towards Maat's Cap.
Some sad news this weekend, LolFail has ceased to be a sky shell. Sush decided he was done with sky and handed over the reigns of sky to Zalorolo who has seemingly picked up Hybrid as the 2nd in command. From what I understand it wasn't a pretty split because Sush did take the bank for the week which A LOT of people were angry about and he supposedly took the pop items and sold them as well for himself to keep. The word on the street is that Sush did walk away with about 6M in pop items and gil items from the week. As for the other pop items that Hulc had I don't know what happened to those. I don't feel the need to state my opinion because its mine and I like to stay unbiased either way. I know Sush wants me to roll with them for low man sky to just strictly get gil which I am perfectly ok with because gil has always been the problem with me in my career in FFXI. On the other hand I feel that the other friends I have made through LolFail would be mad at me for going with him to do that. It seems that I am damned if I do, damned if I don't because I know I could do better for my char if I went with Sush, but do better for more people if I went with Relentless (the new sky shell). Since I don't really have to decide either way for now I will just soak up the extra time I have with Khrone and try to either help him get more stuff done, like missions and assaults, or merit and exp to go for Maat's Cap. As for if either group needs/wants me to help out I am more than willing to, like how Sush and I duo'd a Despot this weekend and made a quick and easy 225k a piece. Or if Khrone wants to get back to sky to finish off his pieces of gear and maybe get me an Osode in the process I'm down for that as well. Time will tell to see where I end up. Although, sea does sound nice because I could get my enfeebling cape that I am aching to get. Ok, this post has gone on long enough...
Tonight I will be moving my PC to Khrone's house because it seems I'll be staying there for the next few nights at least. Khrone and I have found a new toy to play with though so that will probably take up some of our time tonight playing with that. He will probably be doing a lot of car searching since he is still carless and I will probably be doing a lot of exping, hehe. Hopefully I can get my old PC working again as well because I think the power supply died on me and it has taken me literally months to do anything about it. So I'll have my work cut out for me tonight.

Friday I got some merits and then went to a birthday party. After the birthday party I went out to a bar and saw a kid I hadn't seen since like 9th grade. He told me about this band that was playing at Cebar's in Euclid, Sumrada. What he didn't know is that I have known that family for basically my entire life and they are actually cousins of one of my best friends growing up ... small world.
Saturday I woke up and promptly begain meriting again with Mactatus and it seems every party I am in with him at the bird camps does about 20k/hr. I mean we were TEARING through mobs like they were Easy Prey. At the end of the day I was sitting at 4/5 Store TP so I decided to upgrade my gear a little more and got 2 pieces of Hachiman gear. The hands will be a permanent addition and the feet are going to be for WSing now until I can get a pair of rutters. Which by the way, I did have a rutter run with Mac and Dray helping out, Mac tanking and Dray for the TH3, but sadly they didn't drop. It was a rather easy fight for Mac so hopefully I can get another air tank and get it to drop this next time.
After gaming I went to the bar to see Sumrada play and had a fun night. Afterwards I went home and Khrone was supposed to just stay at my house but he ended up stopping at someone else's house after the bar. I was then later woken up by my brother I live with to here that Khrone tried driving home (about a 30 min drive) and fell asleep at the wheel. He rolled his Jeep on the freeway and somehow walked away without even literally a scratch. When I heard that he rolled his Jeep I don't think I have ever frozen up like that before. I mean I was literally in a daze and broke out in a cold sweat, it was almost like I had a near death experience. Luckily he is fine and today he said he wasn't even really sore but his Jeep was totalled. Since we work together I have become his personal PL, I mean driver, since we work at the same place anyways. So this week I dunno my availability for anything since I will be spending my time working around his schedule too.
Sunday was just spent meriting again as I want to horde as much as I could to finally finish Store TP to 5/5, which I did, and be able to move on to something that will help me do more damage on my WS, like GK skill which is now level 3 as well. I think I will spend the time to get GK 8/8 and Overwhelm at 3/5 and then get back to Maat's Cap jobs. Those are the biggest 2 increases in damage and accuracy before it gets kind of retarded to upgrade anymore. As it stands to just get to that point I will need 27 merits which is quite a daunting task. I think I may call it quits for meriting after this week unless I get those 27 merits first. Samurai is a fun job and I can start doing some great damage on it but I don't really feel the need to completely cap merits on it and pimp it all out. Besides, I honestly want to get back to MNK and working towards Maat's Cap.
Some sad news this weekend, LolFail has ceased to be a sky shell. Sush decided he was done with sky and handed over the reigns of sky to Zalorolo who has seemingly picked up Hybrid as the 2nd in command. From what I understand it wasn't a pretty split because Sush did take the bank for the week which A LOT of people were angry about and he supposedly took the pop items and sold them as well for himself to keep. The word on the street is that Sush did walk away with about 6M in pop items and gil items from the week. As for the other pop items that Hulc had I don't know what happened to those. I don't feel the need to state my opinion because its mine and I like to stay unbiased either way. I know Sush wants me to roll with them for low man sky to just strictly get gil which I am perfectly ok with because gil has always been the problem with me in my career in FFXI. On the other hand I feel that the other friends I have made through LolFail would be mad at me for going with him to do that. It seems that I am damned if I do, damned if I don't because I know I could do better for my char if I went with Sush, but do better for more people if I went with Relentless (the new sky shell). Since I don't really have to decide either way for now I will just soak up the extra time I have with Khrone and try to either help him get more stuff done, like missions and assaults, or merit and exp to go for Maat's Cap. As for if either group needs/wants me to help out I am more than willing to, like how Sush and I duo'd a Despot this weekend and made a quick and easy 225k a piece. Or if Khrone wants to get back to sky to finish off his pieces of gear and maybe get me an Osode in the process I'm down for that as well. Time will tell to see where I end up. Although, sea does sound nice because I could get my enfeebling cape that I am aching to get. Ok, this post has gone on long enough...
Tonight I will be moving my PC to Khrone's house because it seems I'll be staying there for the next few nights at least. Khrone and I have found a new toy to play with though so that will probably take up some of our time tonight playing with that. He will probably be doing a lot of car searching since he is still carless and I will probably be doing a lot of exping, hehe. Hopefully I can get my old PC working again as well because I think the power supply died on me and it has taken me literally months to do anything about it. So I'll have my work cut out for me tonight.

Poroggo Madame Down
I must admit, this run went a lot smoother than our last one. There were a few mistakes but nothing that really brought us to a screetching halt.
We farmed the cells in a much faster manner this time, all as a group. Everyone was doing a better job of passing quickly on the cells and had a much better understanding of who gets what cells. Overall I would have to say we were much more efficient with our 30 minutes this time than the last time. There was one mistake of going up the wrong portal so we missed out on some other cells that may have helped us a little more but we were still good.
As for the 4th floor we started off very poorly. Caol pulled some mamool ja when no one else was ready because Dray was telling people stuff to do while Caol was also telling different orders. So we were all waiting in the side room and all of a sudden Caol comes running out with 2 mamool ja and one of them was a BLM. When we ran out to start fighting the first one the BLM one had already started casting Thundaga3 which killed I believe 3 or 4 of us right off the bat. Eventually we wiped to the mamool ja but not until after killing the 1st one and getting a much needed HP cell for Caol, which by the way was totally luck because those mobs drop random cells. It ended up not being a total disaster because we were able to get that HP cell.
After that we were ready for the the NM. We prep up, get ready, and pull. Dray pulls all the pets to the one side like he was supposed to but for some reason Caol said he was spamming his Chi Blast macro but it just wasn't going off. Dray raises back up and we try again, and this time Caol actually snags it and pulls it kinda into the side room ... yeah kinda. Well kinda was "kinda" a mistake because then he decided to link a bunch of his other froggie friends which started to OWN us. Somehow we kinda got away from it but sadly we still wiped. Attempt #3 went really well and actually flawlessly. The only way it could have gone better is if dray was lucky enough to deaggro the frogs. We pulled the NM way back into a room and just whooped on it until he charmga. Once that wore off we whooped on her some more and charmga and then dead. Got the 3 100% drops from it which completed Caol's Usu feet which is cool because that means we can start concentrating on other floors and other pieces of gear now.
The next run I guess is scheduled for Sunday at 6PM which I can't make because I have volleyball at 7. I guess they are going to try the 5th and 6th floor NMs and possibly the boss in Zhayolm Remnants which could be cool .... for them. As much as I'd like to go to Salvage I can't ditch my new volleyball team because we normally only play with 5 as it is.
Sunday there will be a huge change in LolFail too I guess because Sush is changing how the whole LS will be run. There is supposedly going to be Dynamis and Sea added into the shell and cutting back on Sky. Sush also said that there will be some attendance cuts from the LS based on attendance and attitude which really has everyone scared. Everyone that's in the LS seems to want to stay in the LS. Also, as of last night Sush didn't really have a direction for the LS as of yet. This weekend we will just have to wait and see what Sush wants to do. One thing he did say was nixing points in sky and giving people with jobs for the items priority for pieces of gear instead of doing a straight points system. Another stipulation that he did say was that nothing is set in stone as of yet and he will have to see whate he ends up planning out. I am actually kind of looking forward to seeing how this ends up. This could definitely either expand the shell or really destroy the shell, only time will tell.
It is Friday and I am not going anywhere this weekend which is awesome because that means I can merit and do assaults and just get a lot done in game that I need to do ... like capping Store TP so I can work on more GK and Overwhelm merits. I'm excited to deck out my SAM because of the merit party I had with Mac when we were just utterly DESTROYING everything. We hit chain 104 before I had to leave but Mac said that they actually went up to like 214 or so before they called it quits. I got an extra 10k buffer bringing my buffer up to 30k on SAM and an extra merit leaving me at 2 in reserve. That means I need about 100k more exp to cap Store TP and then I can be a real SAM and have a 6 hit build since sadly I am not right now.

1st Salvage Run
Lets just say this didn't really go according to plan. From the word go we were not nearly as organized as any of us thought we were. I mean we went in without having a real cell order nailed down and didn't even have the cells from the main box decided. It took up around 2 minutes before we even decided who got what in the box. Honestly, it should take about 30 seconds and in Salvage, time is everything. Now I'm not gonna totally point my finger and say it was that person's fault because we all went in assuming someone else knew exactly what to do when really we should all know what to at least expect. Cell order should be nailed out ahead of time or at least a general idea and people just weren't prepared for the pace that Salvage needs to go. It just shows that you can't go in unprepared for Salvage.
Hmm, just saw a new post on LolFail's website by Sush talking about how he's going to be breaking a lot of pearls and cleaning up the LS. I hope that means he'll just be booting people that don't contribute to the LS anymore. Khrone is freaking out because he's scared he might get booted now when he still needs D legs and D head. I told him not to worry because he takes the load of attendance off Sush's shoulders so I don't really see Sush booting him since he is a regular, active, and contributing member of the LS. I could see Sush more of booting me from the LS but I feel that I do contribute to the LS with helping with attendance and helping run some farming runs on the rare occasion Sush isn't on. There is also the fact that I am one of the main Bards for Kirin runs and we don't really have that many bards in the LS so I feel kinda safe. Eh, I am worried a little bit because I do have some fun and make some good gil in this LS. It has DEFINITELY been the most productive LS I've been in, even if it was only sky. I've never seen people get gear so quickly and be able to make some gil in the process. Sush said he didn't have a list together of who he was depearling yet so I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I'm on the dreaded list.
As for tonight, I hope to get a Hagun ENM run done so I can make some of my gil back from me buying the Hagun I have. It put a big hole in my wallet so I'm hoping to refill it with that. After the ENM I'm probably going to have to get ready for Dynamis-Bastok right away since they roll out at 8 PM. At least I will be able to make the whole run tonight and maybe even snag the SAM meditate gloves from Bastok.

Popping Kirin
Here is a word of advice: Don't be the one to pop Kirin. I popped Kirin last night and got a Stone V in the face, but hey, I did get 3 WS off so I got that goin for me. I was hoping that with all the WS spam at the start it may have interupted his casting ... lesson learned. lol
Not really anything in game to mention about last night because we just did a bunch of gods and 2 Kirins. One good thing is that with all of the gods we have been selling stuff which means more gil for payout.
As for RL though, I had our final game for bball and I nailed a 2/3 court shot just before halftime. It was HAWT!!! Someone else from my team was going to chuck it up but it got tipped and I grabbed it with about 3 seconds left at the top of our 3-point line, took about 2 stepps and threw it up. While it was in the air I thought for sure it was going to hit the rafters or a light or something but it just cleared all of it and landed in, nothing but net! We definitely dominated that team though, ended up being 65-39 and we got 3rd place in the league. Honestly we should have been in the championship game but in the semi's we couldn't hit a shot to save our lives and only lost by 5 points.
Tonight in volleyball I get to play a girl that I've known my whole life and pretty much was the first person to get me interested in volleyball. Last time we played her team I was using her for target practice, even when she was at the net I was still dumping the ball right on her head. lol Let's hope I can keep that up tonight.
Tonight for in game though ... SALVAGE!!! We are doing our first Salvage run tonight which will be oodles of fun because its a definite change of pace that I am whole heartedly looking forward to. Sky is meh now that I only need N Hands and W Hands, neither of which I really have any of intention of uncursing right away.

SAM FTW
My trek to 75 on another job is done. Samurai is now 75! It was a long and kinda fun journey that is finally over. There were many ups and downs in exp but I don't think anything was worse than 74. I literally went from about 5k into 74, all the way to 75 just in campaign battles. It was painful but I was able to do it. Once I broke into 75 I decided to splurge and buy myself a bunch of the other gear that a 75 SAM should have: Wyvern Helm, Brutal Earring, and my long awaited Hagun.
Once I dinged into 75 I was excited to buffer and merit on it but sadly I wasn't allowed to since I had 0 merits. Since then I got a quite different merit party which did about 30k in about 2 hours. It was 3xBLU, RDM, BRD, and me as SAM/DNC leaving up Aspir Samba. This party was actually really fun and got me a 20k buffer on SAM and 2 more merits to play with. My merits for SAM are now up to 2 GK and 2 Store TP. Once I finish Store TP merits I need to work on Overwhelm and GK skill because I will have my 6-hit set up so more damage and accuracy is what needs to be worked on next. I would like to keep meriting to have a very respectable SAM before I get back to MNK but I dunno, I could probably try to sneak in both at the same time but I know how doing multiple things at once is such a pain.
My next job will be MNK which means I have to keep my eye out for gear that I should snag to get it to 66. From now on all jobs are just going to 66 because I am quite overloaded on gear right now so I can't handle any more 75s to gear up. As for some of the random gear I still have sitting around from other jobs, I will just keep it for now as long as I can use it in the short term for a next job that I will be leveling. So like I plan on doing DRG after MNK so I will hold on to my Assault Earring for now since I will hopefully be using it in a few weeks.
Ugh, a few weeks per job, that does not sound fun. I still have a very long trip til Maat's Cap but at least I have something to look forward to after all of my hard work.
Something actually Sky related though, I got N Body last night. Kirin was nice enough to drop 2 to us since there were 2 of us hoping for N Bodies. That leaves me at 2 R/EX pieces of gear left that are worth getting in Sky, N Hands and W Hands. After those 2 I will be becoming a strictly part time member or an as needed member as there will be very little that I need from the sky shell besides gil and possibly an Osode that is basically way out of reach right now since there are so many outside farmers that leave me in the dust. I have accepted that there is no way for me to get an Osode in this LS so I will just stick to my plan of weekly payouts and 2 or 3 days a week of sky and then working on my next jobs to 66 or meriting my current jobs a little better.
One thing I do have to learn to do is try to make some gil. I have my RDM/NIN all ready to roll but I have yet to try to use it to do something like Despot. Getting Despot just once will get me some good gil that would easily buy me another nice piece of gear or a cursed item or something along those lines.
Anyways, I need to get back to work because I'm so far behind from going to class the past 2 days. This weekend I will also be visiting my gf for Valentine's Day, so no gaming at all until Sunday. Then Sunday I get to jump right back into a hopeful Dynamis-Beaucedine and then up to sky. Hope we mow through our team we play on Sunday for volleyball so I can get back ASAP to rape some mobs and maybe (year right) get a RDM body. :D .... yeah, I'm dreamin.

Lack of Sleep
I have to admit, sky is really starting to burn me out during the day now. We keep going way over time and I'm not getting nearly enough sleep. We are supposed to end sky at 3 but for the past 2 weeks we've been ending at like 4 or 4:30 and that extra hour or hour and a half of sleep is quite valuable to me. If this keeps up I'm going to have to just start leaving early because I can't keep up with this. Today for example I slept in until 11AM, partially because my alarm clock is junk, when I should've been working for at least an hour by that time. I mean I woke up at 11AM, not got to work.
Anyways, I feel a lot more refreshed today which is good since tonight I don't have sky and I don't have to wake up for work tomorrow. That means I'll be exping on my SAM until I hit 75 and have a good buffer on it. After that I will have to start meriting again because even to make a decent SAM I still need a boat load of merits. Let's do a little calculation for merits I would NEED: 8/8 GK (21) and 5/5 Store TP (15) = 36 merit points. And that is just bare minimum to have a decent SAM. In order to have a good, not even great, SAM I would need 3 more into Overwhelm (12) and 5/5 Meditate (15) which is another 30 merits!!! I guess that means I have my work cut out for me. On the plus side, once I get a good number of merits into SAM I can get back to Maat's Cap with all my free time.
I am looking forward to finishing off SAM and having a good end game DD ready to roll. The only down side is that SAM gear is really friggin expensive, but that's the way all good DD are I suppose. I guess I could really pimp out my WAR for a lot less but WAR just doesn't really interest me anymore. Anyways, I'll still be happy to be done with SAM and have another job to fall back on.
Next up after SAM though is MNK which will be another fun job. SAM and MNK have been the 2 that I really wanted to work on for a while anyways because of how they can be used in the events that I want to use them in. Sadly I have realized that in order to really have a good MNK end game I would have to drop some extra gil into D Body which I am currently not willing to do because I still want to save that gil for buying up items for Salvage gear. I really would like to move faster through some of these jobs but I just don't have the time unless I cut out sky which I don't really want to do because there is still some gear I need/want and the payouts are good.
At least my weekend is basically all planned out for me .... exp SAM. lol I am really hoping to be 74 tonight and maybe possibly hopefully even 75 tonight if I get lucky enough. What I am kind of thinking is that we could get a mostly LS East Ronfaure [S] party together and just blow through exp there. I could even throw Screamin into the mix as RDM at 37 which would be cool because then I could get him moving a little on his RDM which I hope to get to 75 eventually.
Ok, I really need to get back to work because I am obviously way behind for today.

IIIIIIIIII'm the BEST!!!!
You got it dude, on 1/22/2009, my 2nd char Screamineagle got W Legs! BOOM BABY!!! I can't believe that I seriously got another pair of W Legs in this LS, that is REDICULOUS!!!!!! So I think I've decided I want to stay with this shell a little longer because well, its so damn awesome to keep getting all this great gear and gil! Ok, I think I'm done with exclamation points now.
Anyways, Khrone also got his Byakko's Haidate so he's like one of them real monks now with Destroyers, Shura Togi, AND Byakko's Haidate. Now he just needs a few more minor upgrades and one HUGE one, Black Belt, and his monk should be done except for merits. This was a great day though to see him finally get Haidate since he was waiting for so effing long while being in 1st place. But congrats again bro.
I'm still in shock that I got Screamin W Legs last night since I had to wait FOREVER for W Legs in every other LS (which I never got them in). Now I've gotten 2x W Legs, D Body, and B Haidate in this LS ... WOW. Definitely have accomplished more in this LS than I have in any other LS I've been in and I've only been in this LS for like 3 or 4 months. It will be kind of a pain to get the other pieces that I want now because that W Legs really set me back in points. I am not really worried about it though because everything else I get in this LS is just gravy. Honestly, I've gotten everything that I wanted from this LS already but there is just still so much of a potential to get every piece of worth while sky gear that I can't pass it up. It has even crossed my mind to getting some more abjurations for Screamin too to finish off his monk and ninja. We shall just have to wait and see how everything turns out I guess and see if Kirin starts putting out N Bodies and Osodes because those and Haidate are the 3 more wanted items in sky now. Heh, I just realized all 3 are on my list too because I'd like to get a Haidate for Screamin's NIN and MNK. lmao Oh the greatness that is LolFail...
As for me and it being the weekend and I have nothing planned for this weekend except an oil change for my car tomorrow I guess its crack out to SAM weekend. I REALLY want to hit 70 this weekend but I know it will be very hard to get because lately I just haven't had any luck with parties. What I am thinking though is an LS East Ronfaure [S] party with a 6th member that we abuse for level sync. This would be a grand idea because we could easily blow through levels like its nothing. Heck, if we got a DNC in our party I could even see me abusing Screamin on 37RDM to instead of PL, level sync with. Oh, and I think I've decided that I would like to try to get Screamin's RDM to 75 now because he already has W Legs and having 2xRDM/NIN with W Legs is just pwnage. Pipe dreams are great aren't they?!
Weekend realistic goal: SAM to 68
Weekend wanted goal: SAM to 70 (and then the real fun with SAM begins because of all the new gear I geat!!!)

Hybriddelever
I mean Hybridkiller, deleveled last night for 1 reason and 1 reason alone ... stupidity. Now you might be thinking that I am talking about his stupidity but I am not. There was just always 1 person not following directions and breaking bind on Zip. Here's something you might be thinking; Zip isn't too hard, you can either zerg him with melee or solo him as a RDM/NIN. You are correct in your thinking right here, but when you don't have enough to zerg him and no RDM/NIN it can be difficult because everyone thinks they know how to do everything aaaaaaaaaaand they don't.
When I first got up to sky they had already claimed Zip and were attempting to kill him by nuke/zoning, another good strategy for doing Zip. Well, when by the time I got there they had wiped to where I figured they would've wiped in the middle of the stairs or so. Nope, they wiped at the zone. It was pretty funny actually because Mac can solo almost every NM in sky but yet with half an alliance they wiped to Zip (w/o Mac is to be noted). So we raise up and try Zip again. Everything is going smoothly until people started just nuking at will JUST after a bind landed leaving no time for the recast timer to cool down. Then people were all standing gathered together right at the zone line where the BLMs are trying to zone out making it hard for them and also painful for themselves because Zip has 3 AoE moves that can do some serious damage. Apparently people don't realize that you are supposed to kite Zip after the BLMs nuke and zone since they were all trying to keep him at the first turn right by the zone. I had to drop a few luckily unresisted Blizzard III's before I got hate locked on me and was able to kite him away from everyone else. I even got to bring him all the way down the stairs so when the BLMs zoned back in they wouldn't have to worry about gettin whooped on while resting and getting a feel for where Zip was.
This is how Zip should be done using the nuke/zone technique, let the RDMs get some hate so they can kite effectively. Then let the BLMs nuke and zone because they will obviously get lots of hate from their nukes. No problem with letting Zip try to chase down the BLMs as they zone out because all that does is give the RDMs time to get some distance between themselves and Zip so they can rebuff and be prepared to bind. Once I had hate and was able to pull Zip away from everyone else it moved much more smoothly because there was much more space to work with and less people around Zip to mess up bind. Hopefully that was a learning experience for the newer people in the LS.
Another little problem after that was at SC when we were sleeping the detectors to let it try to pop SC. Well someone decided not to turn off autotarget and then attacked the detector. There were 2 DRGs with us and they tried to claim it wasn't them when it was obviously one of them since there was a wyvern attacking the detector. Then out of nowhere, after having the detector slept with like 1/4 health, someone just turns and kills the detector ... wtf?! We had only killed 2 pops from the detector at that point and to be honest I wasn't so pleased because I was the one pulling. Anyways, on the next detector we got SC to pop on like the 2nd try.
Overall it was a pretty good farming day for the LS. I believe we got Zip, BB, Olla, 2xUlli, MG, SC, Faust, and Despot. Hehe, now that I look at that, that is a full god set which also is a Kirin set. Not too shabby for a regular farming night.
Oh, yesterday I also put in an app to HellsBells for Dynamis because I figured I would at least give it a try. As of now there have been 30 views of it but only 1 comment. They are making comments on another guy's app still that had been accepted a couple days ago though. Throw me a friggin bone here, I'm trying to get in the LS for tonight's Dynamis. Oh well, guess that means I will just have more time to level my SAM tonight.
Speaking of SAM, I did a little duoing with Hybrid yesterday on Goblin pets in Gustav Tunnel and it was just unfair to those pets. There were a few pets that only landed 1 hit on us before it died which means it got 3 swings off. I think we may try doing some more duoing on Goblin pets because it was pretty good exp and we weren't having any trouble with them. Screamineagle was sitting there in case something went wrong like a Goblin link or something but other than that he really only saved us some time resting.
Tonight I have a wake to go to which will take up the early part of my night, but then since I have yet to hear anything about HellsBells Dynamis I will just go level SAM. Hopefully I can hit 66 or if I'm really lucky 67 tonight. I just want some more progress on SAM because I want to be 70 by the end of this weekend. Once I hit 70 I am going to be all jittery because I will have 75 in sight and from 70 to 75 I have a lot of gear upgrades that I am excited about. Well, off to stare at the gear I will be getting from 70 to 75 and reading more about Store TP and see what I need to take off an extra swing to get 100 TP.

Inauguration Day
It was a lazy night last night. We started off with a Kirin, that ended up taking way longer to set up for that it should have. The plus side of this Kirin was we did try it another way. Instead of just having the 3 BRDs swap around and then stay in party we actually had a 4th bard outside that 2hr'd and gave 3 extra DDs 2 songs also. So when the 3 bard rotation was done the bards would drop out and the 3 extra DD swapped in and we'd get even more fast damage on Kirin and take him down quicker. This was actually a really nice idea that worked out well. Kirin went down faster than usual but one of the extra DDs d/c'd just as he was supposed to swap back in so I jumped back in my original party to give the WHM Soul Voiced Ballads. Congrats to Hybridkiller on a half point cost D Body and to Fadee on his W Legs.
Seeing the W Legs drop again made me really start to think that I may actually take the time to build up points to try to get W Legs for Screamineagle just for fun. It would be really cool to have 2 characters with W Legs so he could actually keep up with my RDM now. lol What else is nice is that his PLD is really well geared and that is one of the few nice items he is missing. Also, whenever I use him he's almost always on PLD and whenever I dual box it's usually PLD and RDM. Even another thing that would be really nice is that if I do end up getting back into a real Dynamis shell I could always use him as an NM kiter for the 3 NM platforms. Versatility... :D
Back to sky though... After Kirin we ended up just farming the rest of the night but since we had so many people we were smart enough to split up and take groups to basically every NM out there. I guess we got MG, Despot, SC, and a water. We would've gotten Zip but a solo RDM got to him before our main alliance of people could. This doesn't even include the group of BLM we had at Ulli trying to snag some Diorites too. It was refreshing to be able to just own sky like that.
As for my plans in this LS and future plans, I want to stay with this LS because weekly payouts are really nice and I still have a bunch of items I still want. Gear I still want for myself in sky:
1) W Hands
2) N Body
3) N Hands
4) Kirin's Osode
Items I want for Screamineagle is a much shorter list: W Legs, Haidate, and D Body. Other possibilites would be D Head and D Legs but they are not a priority AT ALL. I dunno if I would actually uncurse his D Body because that's definitely not cheap but it would be nice to have a decently geared MNK to have extra for Salvage. The other problem with Screamin's MNK though is that he doesn't have Haidate. Haidate would be a really nice upgrade for his MNK and NIN even though I would probably never use him on NIN because his PLD is so well geared.
But back to actually talking about my plans for Treubond. Future plans include SAM to 75 and meriting like mad man. Then I would switch back to MNK and get cracking on that to at least 66 or possibly 75 depending on the needs of a Salvage group that I hope to join.
Which brings me to my next point of Salvage. Hulc is coming back some time in the next week and he wants to get a regular Salvage group together which I am all about because that of course is my next real goal now that I have W Legs and all my NEEDED gear for SAM from sky. Salvage I have always had fun with and would love to start getting some Morrigan gear flowing my way and even possibly some Marduk gear because they would be some decent upgrades for my bard. Not to mention some Usukane gear for my SAM or MNK when they are 75 as well. I guess that means now that I am paying attention more to what gear I could actually use for good upgrades to what I have I should remake my Salvage list of wanted items. Guess that means I would also need a bunch of house cleaning then too huh?
So tonight will be another attempt at leveling SAM some more, but hopefully not failing like last night. I will also have to start looking through my inventory on my character and seeing what else I can dump to my mule or just straight up sell because I don't use a lot of the stuff anymore and probably won't use some of it for a while.

All Good Things Should Come In Pairs
LIKE HOT WOMEN!!! I mean, like the nights of gear that I get! Last week I had 2 pieces of gear drop to me in 1 night and last night I had 2 pieces of gear drop to me in 1 night. All Dryadic gear that is worth while is now mine. Dryadic Body and Dryadic Legs can now be added to my collection of gear that needs to be uncursed. It is a great feeling coming ever so much closer to getting all the gear I want in sky. Now that I think about it, I believe I only have 3 or 4 pieces of gear from sky that I don't yet; W Hands, N Hands, N Body, and I believe either M Head or M Hands. I would count Osode but I could buy that if I really wanted to.
Another plus from yesterday is that I found a quick hour long party and was able to get about 10k from it thus gaining me level 65 on SAM. I am really hoping to have SAM at 70 by Sunday because Sush and Mac left me in the dust in leveling, but in my defense they have way more time than I do to level. It is really good to see some people in the LS working towards leveling new jobs that are actually useful, like we could use Sush on DRG for angon (or whatever its called) since we maybe only have 1 or 2 in the LS right now and then having Mac as another SAM would definitely be nice because I'm sure he loves to be on RDM/WHM for Kirin as a back up healer or a substitute WHM. I just wish other people in the LS would take more of an initiative to level another job as diligently as them. I am trying, but well I can only move so fast with something IRL almost every night then having my gf take up my weekends.
As for this coming week and weekend I should hopefully have time to get my SAM to 70 because I won't have any gf duties until next weekend (last weekend of January). All of my free time in game will pretty much be spent trying to level my SAM as it has been for a little while now. I just really want to see what my SAM will be like when I hit 75. It is kind of exciting to have the prospect of another 75 job because I have a lot of gear waiting already for when I get up there. Right now I'm only missing a few pieces like Osode, Brutal Earring, and Hagun. Osode I will eventually get through the LS but the Brutal Earring I'd like to try to farm up the coins on my own because there are some pieces of AF+1 that I would really like to get like AF+1 Hands for SAM, AF+1 Hands for BRD, AF+1 Hat for BLM, and possibly some other pieces.
Right now my biggest problem that I see long term is storage space. I discovered last week that storage in your Mog House caps at 80 which is not exactly what I was hoping for. That means I have no maxed out COMPLETELY my possibility for expanding space on Treubond ... not cool. This makes me wonder how other people can have all these jobs at 75 and be able to still have gear for them all. I do have a feeling that when my SAM hits 75 my WAR may be retired since in order to really deck out my WAR I would really have to drop some gil on some nice pieces like Unicorn and Dusk which I'm just not ready for or honestly really willing to do. I just see more potential for SAM than I do for WAR for what I would need gil and space wise. As far as another few pieces of gear that I may need for SAM, gorgets. Gorgets is not something I look forward to nor do I really think I would drop that much time in sea to get them because I dunno if I feel that they would be worth the upgrade for me because I think I would prefer spending that time leveling another job in my eventual quest of Maat's Cap.
As for my next job to 75 (or Maat's Cap level) after SAM I have already decided to do MNK as some of the gear I have right now crosses over so well and I could sell my Fuma Kyahan when I hit 72 on MNK which will be a much welcome couple hundred thousand gil back. I also have D Body which is probably the biggest piece that any good monk should get. Monk will also be a good help in case of us needing another monk for Salvage ... if we EVER start it up.
This evening I have an early basketball game at 6:30 so that should give me plenty of time to get another party on SAM and possibly crank out some good exp before having to head up to sky again.

Another plus from yesterday is that I found a quick hour long party and was able to get about 10k from it thus gaining me level 65 on SAM. I am really hoping to have SAM at 70 by Sunday because Sush and Mac left me in the dust in leveling, but in my defense they have way more time than I do to level.
