The title says it all, I did "nuffin" in game yesterday. I didn't even log on because I was busy IRL the whole friggin night and my girlfriend didn't leave my house til like 12:30 so I didn't even have time to log on and get a little exp in. So that's more ho hum update.
Not to mention its almost 6PM and I'm still at my desk waiting for some of this stuff to finish processing for work. :-( At least I will be gone all next week without a care in the world.

Irony
First off I wanted to say sorry about the no post yesterday. I had to get some work done in the morning and then went to a golf outting with my team in the afternoon ... darn. Now on to the show...
I have said before that I would like to do something ironic with how I'm leveling my jobs while I'm going after Maat's Cap. Well, as of last night it has happened, my MNK is now my lowest Maat's Cap job. Now you are probably scratching your head thinking, why is his 30MNK being his lowest job ironic? Not many know that MNK was actually my first job when I started this game many years ago. I got it to 30 with my WAR at lvl 8 which was pretty funny. Yeah, I know, I was a noob and had an under-leveled sub job. When my DRG dinged 31 last night making MNK my lowest Maat's job I had to chuckle.
Speaking of DRG, I gots me another 2 levels last night taking me up to 31. Magic number is now 278. DRG is still fun and its NOT COOL that I am enjoying it. I guess this is a good thing because then it won't be as painful leveling it to 66. My damage output is getting even better and I am rocking and rolling through these mobs like its my job. Not to mention my wyvern is starting to land breath damage for about 72 and with me landing my WS for an average of about 120 its great. I also have a new record on my WS damage on DRG, 196 on a T Mandragora. :D It is great when I can land a 150 WS, add 72 breath damage, an extra hit, and then my jump I dropped a T mandy to 55% within about 3 seconds, LOVE IT.
Now that I'm starting to get to that point where my job could continue soloing my way up, I really need to start partying. My damage is great and all but my exp/hr could be so much higher with even just a few more DDs with me. Like when Sush and I were rocking our PLDs (20 levels in 2 days), we were doing well duo, but then he put together a party of DDs and we were just WHOMPING like 8-10k/hr with out an exp ring on. That is something that would help me stroll through my levels like no other.
I really wish I could just get some regular play time in so I could find someone like Sush or Khrone or Disdain or Caldera or our new friend Bouriko to just ROLL through these levels with no problem. Sadly next week I will be out of commision because I will be in PA having fun with little kids. I know sounds perverted but I have the best time while I'm out there. Not a worry in the world!
I guess my goal will be DRG to 37 before I leave Sunday morning. This seems to be a reasonable goal because that should still give me a few hours here and there of exping or escort or choco race, all of which I would like to do before the week is out. I should have minimal time to game while I'm in PA and by minimal I mean about 5 hours the whole week so I should be able to do the escort or choco quest for next week too then also in that time.

3 more levels down. DRG is rolling pretty decently I must admit. It is really easy to solo too especially because DRG really is a DD and I love to drop 100+ WSs on T mobs, even if it is like a crab with high defense. Or its nice to see the 165 WS against and EM bat too! hehe For a sub job for DRG I have changed my options because DRG/BST just isn't worth while anymore because my wyvern does pretty good damage and WSs with me. So from now on I think I will be sticking with DRG/SAM because I definitely notice a difference in TP build with Store TP 1. I am generally getting 100+TP in 1 less swing which is great for doing more WSs. Also, once I hit 25 life became SO MUCH easier with Spirit Link. Now I don't have to watch my wyvern die and me have to wait like 12 minutes to call another one. Its nice to have the PL too because then I can cure myself to full and bam there is like 200HP for my wyvern. Then I have Screamin cure3 me again and lock in more hate on him. This set up is working just swimmingly now!
I am kind of excited to see how far I actually decide to go with DRG because it is a true DD so I could actually solo to 37 which I think I might just do. Gear is the same as every other job, as I level I will get more that I already have, like rings. At 30 I will get my shikaree ring and my rajas ring so I will be set until my jaeger ring and be set on rings all the way to 75. Earrings I can survive with my Beetle +1s for a while so I am not worried about that. As for the body pieces I could probably just stick with the gear I have and whatever I'm lacking just throw in RSE in its place. One piece of gear I should REALLY get is my RSE sachet because the STR+2 on any job is great. Guess that is something I will have to look into now because I don't really think my Vit+ egg is doin much for me. lol
Sadly I had to miss Salvage last night because I didn't know they were starting up again. They haven't done Salvage in a week then all of sudden ask me if I'm coming. I had honestly thought they just stopped but I guess they were just all playing around with stuff in the new update. But I already had plans to go out with my girlfriend and her friends so its not like I could just drop my RL for Salvage. Guess that means I will have to start trying to find some excuses to go do Salvage instead of hang out with my girlfriend. tee hee

It was nice, I actually had some free time from my girlfriend last night to actually attend an event. What wasn't nice is that I shouldn't have wasted my time GOING to the even because it did not do anything for me besides lose exp on my BLM. And boy do I love exping on my BLM...
Let's start at the beginning of the weekend shall we. Friday, a little exp on DRG. Saturday, a little more exp on DRG. Then Sunday, even more exp on my DRG which is now level 24. I feel pretty good about getting my DRG that far with the little time that I've had. It really should be further along but I have this problem of me continually dying on it. Considering I am PLing myself I shouldn't have this problem but I can't seem to help it. Also, I seem to remember being able to charm crabs at level 24 in Qufim but I have yet to find even an EM crab to charm. Then my wyvern keeps getting whooped on because he seems to have higher ACC than I do. Something else I discovered this weekend was the difference in damage I was doing on certain mobs. Piercing weak mobs get OWNED by DRGs. I was probably averaging about 30-35 per swing on regular mobs, but on like flies or bats I was averaging about 40-45 per swing. I love seeing the damage like that with my gimp gear. haha
Hopefully before I leave for PA in 6 days I will have either my PLD at 35 or my DRG at about 32. I'd like to get one of those quite a bit further along just to help out with my job level total since I won't be able to get any further next week. Magic number right now is 285. 285 job levels until Maat's Cap :D Such a small number is easily attainable ... right??? Oh who am I kidding, I doubt I will be able to get Maat's by the end of this year. But you know what, if nothing else I will have tons of jobs at at least 50 which will be nice. There are still other factors that may deter me from continuing on my quest though, such as Morrigan or other new sets of gear. I am hoping at some point I will have Morrigan gear rockin and a rolling in my inventory because it would be oh so glorious to have. ^^ But until I can get that I will still have the goal of Maat's as my true long term goal.
I was also able to make it to Dynamis-Sandy, yay..., but still didn't get my BRD's Hat. There was quite the disaster too that ended up wasting about 50 min of our time with when we killed the last trigger NM we were still camping where the boss pops and basically just whiped completely with only ... 1 person alive who didn't have raise. After a huge ordeal we were able to raise everyone up, then do another mostly wipe because of a dumb WHM, and get back up and finish off the boss with a RDM as our main puller the whole time.
After a worthless dynamis run I went out with Disdain, who is FINALLY back online, for a little SMN fun. We have been doing pretty well with our SMN so far but our current camp is too low for us now as we just hit 33. Hopefully we can find a new place to rock and roll through now, even though at this lvl SMN aren't too too great of a DD. Thunderspark has still been doing a good job of slappin around mutliple mobs that we fight which is nice because it lets us keep our chains going and is still one of our more powerful BPs. I really would be excited about taking SMN up to 50 pretty quickly if I had the time, but sadly I don't since its summer.
I think that is a good enough update for today. Tonight will probably be a bunch of helping Khrone get his Asuran Fists and maybe putting a group together to go do Double Dragonian to get his Destroyers. Then he can be a real MNK and be much less gimp.

DRG
Got home last night and decided to get my guild item done before volleyball. Did my item and am now up to about 15k/100k I believe. After that I was waiting for Disdain to give him some gear back from doing a Campaign so I was soloing my DRG just outside in North Gustaberg [S]. Did alright even though I was obviously distracted because I died like 3 times. But none the less I burned through my ring JUST before I went to volleyball.
After volleyball I thought I was going to be doing Salvage. Guess not because 1 guy wasn't on and the other was afk for a long time in South Gustaberg. Since I was still on my DRG and in the past I decided to keep going with it and then moved out to Valkurm at about lvl 14 or 15. Once I hit Valkurm I was cruising again. DRG/BST is fun but I don't get a wyvern which is ok because the pet does a lot more dmg I think anyways. Ended up just rolling and rolling through the levels in Valkurm which is always nice because that is one of the biggest pain in the butt areas to level. At one point I kept saying 1 more level then I'll go to bed. Dinged a level and it was like 12:30, which was way too early to go to bed. Dinged another level, was like 1, which was still too early. Another level and another level and blamo I'm like 18 and halfway to 19 and its about 2. At which point I decided 8 levels in 1 day was good enough, especially when I had stopped to play volleyball in between.
It was a little awkward because I was in my LS but they were all in Sky farming while I was just sitting around soloing my DRG and on the phone basically arguing with my gf. Ugh, it was a bleh kinda day, but yet I still kinda feel accomplished because DRG is still my lowest Maat's job and seeing it roll through levels like that was very fulfilling. Hopefully I will have the time to get this to 30 by about Monday and feel very good about being able to get Maat's by the end of the year.
We shall have to see what this evening brings for me. Fortune or dismay, I will have to take it in stride.

About dang time!
Took me like 5 extra battles than it did Screamineagle to rank up in Campaign last night. I got him to rank up just before I had to leave for volleyball. Then when I got home I decided not to dual box and just concentrate on getting myself ranked up. Well, I spent until about 1:30AM doing Campaign Battles until I finally ranked up. I am now second level Emblem and Screamin is back to 4th level Emblem. Also, I only had 3 days left on my medal so I REALLY needed to rank up fast. This way I can now concentrate on leveling my DRG for a while before having to get back to Campaign. Another bonus of Campaign last night, I capped my exp on WAR the same battle I ranked up, w00t.
Now that I am thinking about it too, I may as well get Screamin the pair of Iron Ram Hose because you know what, its not like he'll be using the like 160k+ allied notes that he has. The Iron Ram Hose are better than his Gallant Breeches anyways. And if I got those I could probably store his Gallant gear set then, that is, if he has it all still since I know he upgraded his AF feet. Something I will have to look int0.
On a quick side note. Got an e-mail from the actual Screamineagle last night and he's doing well. He told me to tell everyone he said hi but he didn't really have time to say much more than that. Apparently he doesn't even have internet at home yet so he can't send me his macros yet. Once I get those I should be able to roll pretty well with his jobs. I will just have to make sure I keep the gear around that he needs for gear swaps and such.
It is nice to see that people are discovering where more of this gear drops in the new update. There is a lot of gear out there that I would really like to get my hands on. The only problem with all of this new gear, I just don't have the time to get people together and go after it. I missed out on dynamis-Beau again last night because of volleyball. Tonight I should be able to make it back for Salvage which will be nice. Friday I am sure my gf will want to do something, and the same with Saturday and Sunday. This just sucks not having the time I want to put into the game. The longer this goes on the more I feel I have NO CHANCE at Maat's Cap. I don't even really know why I am going for it since its all of this work for only 1 piece of gear. I could get TONS of other gear and merits in the time that it would take for me to get all my jobs to 66. If nothing else though it will be nice to have all of my Maat jobs at 37 or higher which has been something I've been meaning to do for a long time. It seems that I will just be taking Maat's Cap one step at a time. Get all the jobs to at least 37, move them all to 50, then move them to 66. I have a feeling I will give up after getting a good portion of them to 50. Oh well, its something to strive for right?

Sorry, had to start with the QotD just because it fit so well with how my day is going. I just wanna scream I've been so busy this afternoon. Finally saw a list of all the new gear from this update, WOW. Lots of gear was added and quite a bit of GOOD gear too. I discovered 36 pieces of gear that I would either like for myself or to get for Screamineagle. Its a pity I have no clue how to get 90% of it yet. There are a lot of stuff I would like to get to improve a lot of my set ups for BRD, RDM, WAR, and BLM. I had to laugh at myself earlier because I was looking at some really nice new WAR gear and saying to myself "That would be awesome for my WAR." Which then it hit me, WHEN DO I EVER PLAY WAR?!?!?!
I am kinda happy to hear about the new popped NMs and the gear they drop. Like the ones that drop the Elemental Grips. WTF is up with that?! Like I don't have enough space taken up on my char as it is, they need to throw more gear at me to have to swap in. They need another Gobbie Bag quest.
Then I always have more RL stuff to complain about but I will keep it to myself today. I will just leave it at its sucking the life out of me and I basically have no time to game anymore. Also, this was a rushed update because I still have more work I need to finish before I leave here in about 30 min.

I am kinda happy to hear about the new popped NMs and the gear they drop. Like the ones that drop the Elemental Grips. WTF is up with that?! Like I don't have enough space taken up on my char as it is, they need to throw more gear at me to have to swap in. They need another Gobbie Bag quest.
Then I always have more RL stuff to complain about but I will keep it to myself today. I will just leave it at its sucking the life out of me and I basically have no time to game anymore. Also, this was a rushed update because I still have more work I need to finish before I leave here in about 30 min.

With all new patches come problems
That is right, new updates, new excitement, new problems. Khrone having problems, Caldera having problems, game having problems, but somehow I am uneffected. I got all my updates done last night or this morning for my laptop, main desktop, and my PS3. All I have left to update is my 2nd desktop but I doubt I will ever really use that again for this game.
Good things and bad for the update:
Storage: One terrible thing for the update is how they removed Moghancement: Fishing from almost ALL furniture leaving almost no possible way to get a strong Moghancement: Fishing in your house now which kinda screws me and my fishing plans now. At the same time they did a wonderous thing with furniture and expanded the capacity of a lot of the furnishings which is awesome. Some of them go as high as 15, 17, and even 20.
NMs: More popped NMs in the ToAU zone. This is joygasmic because now I don't have to go camp some of these NMs (whatever they may be) to have a chance at the items from them. Maybe get a chance to sell some Cerb hides or something like that. Plus I am kinda anxious to see what new NMs they have added and see about some of the new gear they drop.
Campaign: Meh, doesn't seem like much has changed here. Added some extra stuff to make it easier or harder in some aspects. I am not really interested right now, I'm more interested in the new ranks and see what the new items are that you can get.
Einherjar: This does look VERY nice now. Maybe just try rolling in with a group of 6 or so (like your Salvage group) and try to rock some of the points for this to get the nice items with the points from there. Or join an LS and get some Imp Wootz Ingots to drop and help drive down the price of Salvage body pieces :D
Merits/Abilities: I am happy about the expansion of the Group 2 merits, but I doubt I will ever get to them considering I have sooooooooooooooooooooo much meriting to do as it is. For the abilities, I am confused about the MNK one, Footwork, I really don't see a purpose for only using your feet. The BRD ability and PLD spell seems like nice additions though. Will definitely make end game tanking with PLD even better.
That's about it for the update. Not much really Earth shattering for me in this update except possibly the new Campaign ranks and gear, or the popped NMs. Well, and the fact that with all these new people that are going to be doing Einherjar it will be nice to see the price of Imp Wootz Ingots plumet. So I guess there is more in this update for me than I expected. Its just a pity I won't have the play time to enjoy it. My girlfriend has been attached to me like white on rice so no real time to game. Hopefully I can get away from her tonight and get some more Maat exp in. Sush has Tuesdays off so maybe we can finish our PLDs off tonight, which would be fantastic.

Just a quickie
This should be a nice short update since I have not been able to play much. Basically just been fishing some on Screamineagle (Fishing now 41) and I actually got in a couple Assaults and an ENM. Nothing spectacular has really happened in game for me. The LS cleared Dynamis-Sandy again so Khrone now has 2 clears and he may try to go with another LS for a clear of Jeuno on Wednesday. It'd be really slick to see him have Icelands access within the next few weeks since he's not 75 and he's only done 3 dynamis so far.
The only other thing that is going on is the new patch today. LOTS of new fun stuff goin on today since they showed the patch notes finally. This could be really slick with Einherjar ESPECIALLY because they are going to be dropping Imperial Wootz Ingots now which will drive down the cost of Salvage body pieces!!! WHICH I LOVE!!!! Maybe by the time I actually get all my pieces for a Morrigan Robe the price will be low enough for me to be able to afford it with just the gil I have now. There are some other nice bonuses like more Campaign ranks and more Campaign items and more popped NMs in ToAU now. Hopefully this pans out to be a really good update and will be able to push me towards more and better gear. Also, I really LOVE the fact that they upped the capacity of some of the storage items. I will be buying lots of cabinets now since they give storage of 20 instead of 4. lol Life has become grand now.
I'll go more in depth about the update and and stuff in the update tomorrow but I'm pretty busy at work so I can't really write much more.

Suprise! No ffxi...
I was plesently surprised to find that my new 40" Samsung LCD TV was at my parent's house waiting for me to pick it up after work. After I had dinner at their house, since my mom had already finished making it, I went home and I set up my TV. To my surprise though I received a phone call from my girl friend saying that she had just gotten home because they decided to just leave the truck at a shop down in Columbus to get fixed and they would go get it next week when it was fixed. Which meant, suprise suprise, no FFXI time AT ALL. When I say "AT ALL" I mean I barely touched my computer last night let alone even attempted to log on. Ended up going to volleyball with her then she came back to my place after because her aunt was staying in her room at home so she stayed with me. All FFXI time GONE.
Since I have no update I figure this would be a good time to lay out what I would like to do this summer while my girl friend is around and have me attempt to get some stuff done in game. Things I could possibly do:
- Merit (generally doesn't take too long, hour or two)
- PL a low level job some more (can do this at my leisure)
- Get Screamineagle's Fishing up higher while fishing for Shall Shells for myself
- Begin just buying the items I need for BC and skilling it up again
- Choco quests
- Escort quests
- Campaign/Campaign Ops
- Attend events I can make it to
- Assault
At this point this is about all I can think of that I could possibly do. I wouldn't have the time nor inventory space to completely level a new job but I think I have what I need to get DRG going, which incidentally is my last Maat's Cap job below 30 :D This does make me kind of excited because that means I can start crankin out jobs to 40 and 50 now which will be uber fantastic!
I need to decide whether I just want to take all my jobs 10 levels at a time or what. There is the possibility of doing all my mage jobs at one time because gear will cross over and the do my melee jobs at once because some of that gear will almost definitely cross over. For the most part my mage jobs will just be my RSE and some resting MP gear, so I'd be set til 50 on SMN and WHM. For my melee gear, I believe a lot would still cross over for the most part between sets of jobs. Like my MNK and SAM could be leveled together because the gear should all be the same except the weapon and the waist I believe. But then at the same time, if I come to the realization that I won't get Maat's cap by when I would like to, I would have jobs that I NEVER want to do again ... like DRK. I should probably just prioritize my jobs so I know which ones I can do together and would enjoy, like MNK/SAM and WHM/SMN. So then maybe I could pair up THF, DRG, and PLD as the next jobs then finally DRK. It is going to be a long complicated mess that hopefully at some point Sush and I can work together on blitzing our way through some of the lower jobs and then get rolling on higher ones to finish off.
This next list will be my current priority of jobs to 50 AFTER getting all Maat's Cap jobs to 37 at least:
1) WHM
2) SMN (with Disdain when he gets back from his break)
3) MNK
4) SAM
5) PLD
6) DRG
7) THF
8) DRK
As of now that will be my order. And as of now, I don't really feel well so I'm done.

This will be a super short post just to say that I got nothing accomplished last night except escort quest. Stopped at Khrone's house to help him take his hard top off his jeep then put his soft top on. After that I went straight to volleyball, which we won 2 out of 3 but the one we lost was only by 2 points (but we still should have won). Then I got a phone call from my girl friend about some not fun RL stuff that was going on with her so I ended up not doing ANYTHING the rest of the night.
The only real thing I accomplished was learning to fish. I took out Screamineagle's char to Bubu to do some fishing and was fishing up Shall Shells for my bonecraft but only got .2 skill up for him. This will work for me really nicely because I can fish lazily for shall shells for Treu to craft into Pearls and Black Pearls for eventually skilling up my BC more. Then when I get Screamin's fishing skill to 60 I can actually go to SSG and fish for the coral I will be needing and hopefully making some gil back.
Well that's about it for today. Hopefully tomorrow I will put together a list of stuff I can do while my girl friend is home since I won't be able to just sit down and play play play like I have been doing while she's been gone.

Holy exp batman!
Is it rediculous when you start at level 22 on the day and end at 31 after like 6 hours? Because I did that. Started about 1k into 22 and ended about 1k into 31. This was just brute forcing job levels right there son! I was still wearing an aketon and my emperor ring the whole time too haha. Oh man, I wish I could exp like that ALL THE TIME!
Sush really is a true exp whore. We were doin pretty well with just the two of us but we hit a point in qufim when we said forget it and we just rolled out to Kazham. Somehow this sucka pulls out a BRD and a COR and the rest DDs. We was rocking and a rolling through the first jungle. People were getting mad at us because we were killing EVERYTHING around. They were saying "Hey, we're partying here." but to not be a dick I didn't respond. I did want to say, "Yeah, so are we, thanks for the mobs!" Luckily I exhibited restrain lol. Man was it fun though. Sush died, I think 6 times through out the day and I never died at all, but he did most of the tanking since he had actual DD gear on his PLD and I was half naked. Also, when we headed out by the OP in the first jungle he switched to PLD/WAR so we would have an easier time with who had hate and all. Plus it helped the THF with his damage out a lot because the mob for the most part was always facing the one direction.
I can't say this enough but I was really happy with how last night went for me. It is really great to have my own personal PL all the time too, it makes life SO much easier. This also brought me to a realization, I only have 1 Maat's Cap job under 30 now and that is my lvl 10 DRG. :D If I can rock out 20 levels on my DRG in basically 2 days like I just did with my PLD it would be the hotness. Although, I want to finish off my PLD first because then I can dump what little gear I do have for it lol.
So today is Dynamis-Jeuno, but I think I'm also going to try 2 things befor I have to leave for volleyball.
1) Attempt fishing in SSG on Screamin, see how that turns out.
2) DO MY DANG GUILD ITEM!!!
3) Escort quest again.
Those 3 should definitely take me until about 7 when I need to leave for v-ball. If I can accomplish at least 2 of those I will be at least mostly happy. Getting my guild item can be put off until after dynamis as it usually doesn't take long to do (if I can even do it). I tinkleberry that be it for today. A much shorter post than yesterday, yay.

To go for, or not to go for, that is the question
Maat's Cap... I don't know if I should even attempt to go for it or what. There is so much I still want to do in this game its rediculous! It is not even the fact that I want to do stuff that doesn't have to do with gaining exp but it has to do with weather I want to merit or if I want to level another job. I am not sure what I should be doing because I am not sure if I WANT to level another job to 75 or really spend that time making my jobs that I have that much better. My Elemental Magic(8/8) and Enfeebling Magic(6/8) are quite high enough for now but I would like to spend more time meriting Ice and Wind Accuracy for my RDM, merit Ice and Thunder Potency for my BLM, Nightengale and Troubadore for my BRD, tons of stuff for my WAR ... UGH.
Over the next couple months I think it will be a lot easier for me to focus because I will have less in game time to mess around. It should basically consist of: come home from work, do guild point item, merit with LS people or PL myself, do event (sky/dynamis/salvage), and merit/PL myself more. Or the alternative is: come home from work, do guild item, spend night with girlfriend. I have a feeling my girlfriend will be taking up A LOT more of my play time this summer because she can get kinda clingy. She does understand that I REALLY like this game though and even when we talk on the phone she can sense that I want to be playing the game instead and will let me go play. Hopefully she will understand when I want to go do things like sky or dynamis or salvage, but that means I will have to sacrifice all my extra free time of exping to go spend with her. I suppose "sacrifice" isn't really the word I should've chosen, but more of trade off. So I could play a couple nights a week but then she will also want to spend more of that time with me.
I am thinking that I will be able to hit most events, but then still spend weekends with her and the off nights with her. ...hehe... I just realized I'm still trying to plan out FFXI around my RL so I can keep making progress in the game with maximizing my RL time and game time. Oh the wonders of the universe that bring me to having a video game compete with my real life. Obviously I will lose time in one for the other but I love this game just that dang much, but at the same time I'm not going to give up my life for it. This game won't still be around in 10 years, but my friends, family, and girl friend will be. You always have to weigh the long term effects of your time investments now. Like I am having fun with this game NOW, but I can't 10 years from now. So I have to balance my real life in so I still HAVE something 10 years from now.
This seems to be the opposite of what some end game shells do though. They don't weigh in their real life, rather they do actually sacrifice their real life for this game and spend "hours staring at Darters". The only thing I can see for myself is if I win the lottery I would "spend hours staring at Darters" but I am fortunate to now have a 2nd character at my disposal to get other things done, like fishing or crafting to make more gil. I think I have to finally sit down and figure out how to fish because it is a REALLY good gil maker with 100 cooking. So I need to jump on that and take advantage of my mule :P
I did get my PLD to 22 last night and plan on going as far as humanly possible with it tonight with Sush. Our over achiever goal for today is 35.

Do a good turn daily
ZMs
That statement was taken MUCH too far on Saturday. Saturday was ZM day for Khrone (that f#$@ sonofa...) so we started allllllll the way at ZM4. Since I figured we should start a little early to try and get the unlit lanterns so we wouldn't have to wait as long, we started at about noon (yes noon, please note that). After about a half hour of farming and getting I think 1 or 2 lanterns with me dual boxing I had to run to my friend's house to let out her dog. We had a total of 7 people show up but only 4 needed ZM4 done. Thank you to Graav for helping us get to ZM4 fight and waiting patiently for us to kill it. We beat it with only an unneccessary Hybridkiller death (since the WHM decided not to cure him) and it was about 3PM by that point, hurray.
On to ZM5... All of these stones were pretty easy EXCEPT Cape Terrigan. Ifrit's Cauldron should be the hardest because of all the magic aggro and everything but was it ... nooooooooo. So our WHM decides she doesn't want to follow the party and go drop down to about where Gustav Tunnel is, where might I add is a one way drop off. So she dies there so I can just tractor her back up. I raise her and what does she do... runs straight at 2 mobs getting aggro and dying AGAIN! So I have Screamineagle tanking 2 mobs at once while I raise her and sleep 1 mob while Screamin takes the other out, no biggie. I raise her and she sneak/invis's up and runs away while I'm killing these mobs by myself, WTF! While I'm sitting there owning these two mobs I'm talking to Caldera/Hybrid about how RETARDED this WHM is. So finally ZM5 done at about 5PM, THANKFULLY!
ZM6 is a fight out in Quicksand Caves, not a problem because we have a strong tank and a good party set up. To start off, the WHM is too close to the party, which I always like to do while fighting mobs that have an AOE silence TP move, so she gets silenced. We drop 2 of the mobs with no real problem, awesome. On to the RNG type mob which also has Eagle Eye Shot in its back pocket. Well let me tell you a story about an unprepared WHM who says they will solo their way through CoP obviously broke as a joke because they couldn't afford oils/powders through ZM5, apparently she doesn't have the gil to afford Echo Drops as well because while Screamin's HP is dropping she's standing back picking her nose since she is silenced. And what do you know, when Screamin had about 600 HP BOOM EES in the face and he goes down! Luckily they took the RNG down without any problem after EES and there actually wasn't any exp loss which was nice. But yet again, "we todd did" WHM.

ZM7 = CS, so ZM8. Well guess what, the WHM had thrown out their delkfut key the day before so she had to walk the whole way up ... yippee! So we all get to the top of the tower and Toboue gets back on and asks if he can join us since he needs ZM8 on out also. No biggie, that puts us at 7 people so we'd have to do the fight twice anyways. We go in, win even though I'm pretty sure the WHM got hit with silence-ga AGAIN. After the kill we have to run back around but guess what, the WHM got aggro somehow and got lost or something, I dunno because I had already run around and was not about to run back and help out a STUPIDO WHM. Ok, we go in we all 2hr this guy again and whoop some ace. BTW, I really don't know how to play PLD well because Hybrid took hate away from me even after I Invincibled ... that hooker!
ZM9-11 = CS, so ZM12. Finally something that no one can screw up on ... HA. We drop down to where the fight is, some people get aggro from some worms we get some TP. I turn around and see that Khrone had already popped the mob and was like ... WTF Mate?! Luckily the pot never once did a -ga3 because that could've been bad with our WHM meleeing too, freakin idiot who by the way had already deleveled to 73 at this point. At least it was fun to have Screamin on his MNK because he was doin some awesome damage and tanked about half of the fight. Oh, and btw the one DRG had to leave before that point so he's kinda SOL on that fight now, let him go solo it...
In conclusion on my ZM portion, I HATE NOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111ONEONEONE People need to suck up and buy oils/powders when they need to, and people need to pay attention! When they are told to do something ... DO IT! And on that note, I will never EVER do a ZM again. MORONS!!! And we finished about about 11:30 ... almost 12 hours of ZMs.
Also, a big thanks to Caldera/Hybridkiller for helping us through about 80% of the missions. Khrone owes you big time dude, but me more...

Now that I'm done complaining about n00bs I will move on to Dynamis-Windurst ... oh wait........ Well well well, Dynamis-Windy, how I loathe thee but how I loathe n00bs MORE. Why can't people follow simple instructions? Is it so hard to wait for the tank to pull the mob to you? Is it so hard to be patient for once? Is it so hard to listen to simple instructions like don't move or move back? Is it so hard to listen to things like please sleep "X" mob or silence "Y" mob? Is it so hard to understand that RDMs should be doing the sleeping as they have a MUCH higher enfeebling magic skill? Is it so hard to have your extra NINs just blink tanking the extra statues so your puller doesn't get owned ALL THE TIME? Is it so hard for people to get a buffer on their job that they come to dynamis on so I don't have to constantly see "X levels down to 74" and then them whine about getting an R3?
I can't take much more of this n00btacular behavior without going insane VERY SOON. The only thing that kept me even semi in the game still was that I got the BLM AFv2 gloves that dropped there. Its alright I guess because then I get more Dark Magic skill on my BLM for Aspir and Drains, but basically just another inventory -1. At least I will not have another reason to go to a Dynamis-Windurst again unless I actually get SMN leveled because those seem to be the only really good piece of AF that drop in windy. All in all windy wasn't THAT bad because we only wiped once and I think it was because of the RDM getting some linked aggro or something while pulling, but we still got that NM down so no real problem. Then what really peeved me was the people whining about raises after the wipe and not taking the raises cast on them, GET A BUFFER YOU EFF TARDS!!! If I can get a buffer on my BLM you can get a buffer on your TP burn job!!! That blew about 10 minutes waiting for those extra R Tards so we were left with about 12 minutes when we finally were going to try the last NM pull. There was a problem with the pull where the THF underestimated where the mobs spawn. I forgive him because honestly, he owned up to it, admitted his mistake, and learned from it. But because of those guys wasting like 10 extra minutes with the raises we didn't even have a CHANCE to try a pull on the NM again. While we were trying to guess how much more time we would've had Efftup, "efft up". He got a raise late because he was one of "those" people with the raises and came running back to the LS camp with like 10 mobs on his tail and killed about 8 people for NO REASON at all. So after that we all just dropped glasses and bounced. Fan-friggin-tastic.
The only gem that really saves my weekend was that I got my PLD from 11 to 21 just on Sunday with having Screamin PL me. Lina-tard was using the /lsmes for her own personal gain by asking people to help her get her Dune Boots instead of posting on the site like EVERYONE else. I guess they went out and tried to kill it last night but only got it to 50% before wiping. I wasn't about to go out there and help someone that I REALLY don't like with something that I had just done 2 months ago. I did give some pointers on what to do and how to do it but they just didn't have the fire power to do it. They didn't listen to me, of course, so I guess Flayer leveled down again and I think someone else got the kill. It was too late for me and as soon as I hit 21 I loged off so I don't even know what happened.
It was a bleh weekend.

That statement was taken MUCH too far on Saturday. Saturday was ZM day for Khrone (that f#$@ sonofa...) so we started allllllll the way at ZM4. Since I figured we should start a little early to try and get the unlit lanterns so we wouldn't have to wait as long, we started at about noon (yes noon, please note that). After about a half hour of farming and getting I think 1 or 2 lanterns with me dual boxing I had to run to my friend's house to let out her dog. We had a total of 7 people show up but only 4 needed ZM4 done. Thank you to Graav for helping us get to ZM4 fight and waiting patiently for us to kill it. We beat it with only an unneccessary Hybridkiller death (since the WHM decided not to cure him) and it was about 3PM by that point, hurray.
On to ZM5... All of these stones were pretty easy EXCEPT Cape Terrigan. Ifrit's Cauldron should be the hardest because of all the magic aggro and everything but was it ... nooooooooo. So our WHM decides she doesn't want to follow the party and go drop down to about where Gustav Tunnel is, where might I add is a one way drop off. So she dies there so I can just tractor her back up. I raise her and what does she do... runs straight at 2 mobs getting aggro and dying AGAIN!
